Art Hotels are all the rage and we have created one just because of who we are ā€“ meaning that as artists we have included our original art - paintings, photographs, sculpture and art furniture - in the space offered for short-term rental.

Prime Location Downtown Roanoke / Loft-Style Apartment / Free Onsite Parking next to building / NOT a generic condo in an apartment building / 950 sq ft/ Well Designed as an Urban Getaway with a private Bedroom and an Open Plan Living / Dining / Kitchenette. It is a Modern, Spacious, and Comfortable, Private Apartment, with 15 foot Ceilings and Artistic Character, on the Ground Floor of our Historic 1906 Building. Since the Space is in the center of our building it does NOT have windows, however there are French Doors that open to the Lobby that is filled with light / The Apartment is very ambient with lots of lighting sources and mirrors.

This is a Great space for Business & Vacation Travelers ā€¢ You can Walk to restaurants, bars, museums, parks, outdoor activities and cultural events. Or if you prefer you can just hang out in the apartment and watch Netflix on Apple TV.

ā€¢ While it is an independent self-sufficient space - we are only a text away.

ā€¢ We pamper our guests with 100% linen bedding and comfy down in the Winter, fluffy towels and organic products, memory foam mattress and 100% linen sheets. The Private, Peaceful Bedroom has an Inviting and Restful Queen Bed, Great Lighting for reading in Bed and a view of the TV. ā€¢ The Living Room is a comfortable lounge area with a Flat screen TV which has local channels and Netflix. There are two comfy couches in the Living Room one of which is a very comfortable Queen Sofa Bed. The kitchenette has Stainless Steel worktable, Counter Top Toaster Oven, Counter Top Large Single Burner Hot Plate, Microwave, Under Counter Refrigerator, Electric Tea Kettle & Electric Coffee Maker. The Bath is in Two Separate Rooms - 1st is Shower Room with a large mirror (and great water pressure) & 2nd is Toilet Room with a Hand Sink and a large mirror.

We have one security camera in the Lobby facing the exterior door and one security camera at the top of the second floor stairs. Both will be on during your stay.

Long weekend getaway.

Just a quick getaway for my wife and I. Perfect size and location for want we needed. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping as well as museums. Cosy apartment was clean and well furnished. Parking is convenient once you figure it out. All in all a great weekend!

VEDA Conference

I came for the VEDA Conference and the Hotel Roanoke was booked up. The location was an easy walk to my conference and loved that downtown parking was included! Host offered reasonable rates, good directions of entry and location (its a little hidden). Cool industrial artsy vibes. Tea and coffee was available - nice touch. Great access to shopping, restaurants and the Star/BR Parkway.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this spacious, comfortable, and centrally located apartment. The host was excellentā€”great communication and even had the pull-out couch (surprisingly comfortable!) ready for my guest. We enjoyed our stay at this convenient downtown apartment. It was exactly as described in the listing. We were able to walk to several restaurants and breweries. The bed is super comfy and we had everything we needed.

What a great space in a great location!

I was in town for a friend's wedding at the Fire Station One Hotel (where the bridal party was staying) and wanted something other than a ho-hum hotel room after having traveled for work many, many times over the previous few months. I looked around for anything in the downtown area and I found the perfect spot! Not only is this apartment located right in the heart of the activity but it was also really unique and full of personality. It was quite literally one of the highlights of the trip. I split the room with a buddy and it was perfect for a couple of guys who were in town to hang out and check out the scene. So many bars and restaurants within walking distance, our favorite's being Martin's, Jack Brown's and of course the Texas Tavern. Everyone that came by to check it out after we raved about it was also impressed. Suzun was an exceptional host and when I had an issue with my account (that Verb didn't seem terribly interested in helping with) that was preventing me from using the app to see any messages, Suzun was able to communicate over text without seeming to break a sweat. The price was also right, which while not always the primary concern when traveling where you spend most of your time someplace other than your room, it never hurts. I 110% would check the availability here if I ever breeze back into town in the future and need a place to stay.

Visit Son in Roanoke

We took the train to Roanoke to visit my son. The location of the rental was perfect, one block from the train station and so close to shop, and food. We did not need a car. The perfect weekend get away.
