Kitchen was fully stocked, beds were comfortable, location was easy to get to, great communication from owners, and hot tub was very enjoyable. We had a nice, relaxing weekend getaway!
We had the best stay at this location. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud! Secluded and looked over the river. The owner was great to communicate with. She gave us great ideas for sight seeing and things to do. We loved it.
Comfy and cozy cabin in the woods! A perfect place for our family to relax and reconnect! Beautiful setting overlooking the lake! The hot tub was peaceful and calming! Host was responsive to all questions and helpful and kind! We loved it here…we got to experience snow, sunshine and rain that week in the woods and loved every minute of our stay!
I loved this cabin stay. I enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. The cabin was clean and stocked with necessities. The bed was super comfy and overall felt comfortable and relaxing. It provided my fiancé and I a great vacation and allowed us to have some alone time.
Enjoyed our sister time to reminisce our dad we recently lost. The cabin was perfect and secluded with a view of the lake across the road. Will be doing this place more often in colder months to enjoy the view of the lake.
Cabin was very nice. Just the way we like it, more trees and animals than people. The cabin was clean and stocked for all we needed. Loved the porch swing on the rainy evenings. Owners were vwry responsive when contacted and when we forgot some of our stuff they graciously mailed it to us. Would stay again!
The cabin was so nice. Very private setting. The Stonewall Resort is close. Spiral staircase, great decks, firepit. Easy to get to New River Gorge and Seneca Rocks. Nearby Weston was a nice town. American Glass Museum and Thyme Bistro are two places to go. We enjoyed it!
The cabin was a perfect getaway for us. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the grill made it easy and quick to put together meals.
We loved being close to the state park for hikes and near Weston - Appalachian Glass was great for gifts!
The hot tub was a treat and Kelly and Jimmie were helpful and quick to respond. We’d recommend for a couple or a family.
This cabin was perfect for our weekend getway! The firepit was amazing and the property was beautiful. Owners were very easy to get in touch with and quick to respond. Location felt secluded but still close enough to activities and stores. We went to Weston and highly recommend checking out the Appalachian glass store. Would absolutely recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing vacation.
We absolutely loved our stay! It’s was clean, beautiful, nice view, and we adored our visitor Mr. Chubs the squirrel who happily hung out on the deck with peanuts. We will definitely be bringing our girls next time. This was just for us on our honeymoon and we couldn’t have chose a better place! Loved the people at the marathon and Stonewall Jackson right around the bend.
Beautiful cabin in a secluded spot right off the highway. It was so tastefully decorated with good quality furnishing. It provides space for a lot of family activities. We did not spend a lot of time at the cabin, so we did not take advantage of the hot tub, firepit or cornhole. If I had a cabin, I would want it to be just like this one!
Cabin was very nice. Very close to Stonewall. Had everything we needed. Didn’t try the hot tub as it was warm when we were there. Beautiful property in the trees. Took a minute to figure out the hot water in the shower it’s the opposite as it’s normally hooked up, only very minor thing we encountered but quickly figured out.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Great Cabin, just needs a few things
Pros:
-The location of the cabin was great for us, and was only a couple of min drive to Stonewall Resort.
-There was plenty of space for everyone
-The couches were huge and super comfortable
The Cons:
-The washing machine was covered in mold
-The Internet was spotty, which made watching TV a little difficult
-Even though the listing said they had Kayaks we could use, when I asked about them they said they hadn't checked them since last year and to just go rent from Stonewall. Totally fine doing that, but then don't offer them in your listing.
-The design of the cabin has a large opening at the top of each upstairs bedroom (possibly for ventilation). Not ideal if you have kids sleeping while people are still awake downstairs
-The upstairs bedrooms were significantly hotter than downstairs. People downstairs were cold while upstairs it was probably 15* hotter.
Had some issues communicating with the hosts at first. It appears there may have been issues on Vrbos end, so I won't hold it against them if it was Vrbos fault.
The
The hosts were very polite and assured everything was great and that our vacation was very enjoyable. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and clean. We would definitely recommend it and would like to book this one again sometime.
