Family Friendly Beach Bungalow | Private Eco Dive Resort With A Pool & Beach

Beachfront living. Feel total relaxation the moment you arrive at the beautiful Casa Cocha. The beach and ocean view and excellent location makes this home a popular choice among families and those with mobility restrictions. The beach is at your doorstep, it's excellent location in proximity to the pool, dive shop, restaurant and activity center. Parents appreciate the flexibility to relax on the expansive deck with cold beverage in the company of the group, swaying in a hammock listening to the sounds of the surf and nature, all while the kids are in view at the beach or pool. 

This Balinese style bungalow provides plenty of ceiling ventilation for fresh air, drop ceiling fans throughout, vaulted ceilings, and over-sized screened doors, for an non-obscured view, even from inside! There are convenient patio doors from the two main bedrooms, that allow you to access the deck without walking through the villa.

All bedrooms have air conditioning, which typically are not needed because there is always a lovely eastern trade breeze, as well as ceiling fans. The king master bedroom connects to the master bathroom, the queen bedroom and third bedroom share a large bathroom. 

The kitchen is modern and comes equipped with everything you need to cook for your family, and on those nights you prefer to dine out, our Ixora bar and restaurant is just steps away!

Palmetto is surrounded by a beautiful nature preserve that provides a comfortable sanctuary to several varieties of wild resident parrots, butterflies, iguana, agoti, and is home to hundreds of humming birds that will flock your feeders by the dozen. Being a gated private resort community, you won't have to worry about foot traffic/vendors bothering you, or busy beach action. However, when you are ready for a change of scenery, or a night out, Palmetto is only 15-20 mins from any main tourist attraction, restaurant, and shopping. So you can enjoy the relaxation Palmetto provides, and enjoy the tourist action when you want without being stuck 'in' the action 24/7 like most all other resorts. After a fun filled day, you will appreciate coming back to a tranquil setting.

Roatan 2025

Property centrally located on the island. Very clean and staff very friendly and courteous. Local people very accommodating and friendly. Definitely will be returning.
