We had the most amazing weekend at The Pines Cabin! We were so excited driving all the way up and felt like we were on top of the world up there. Tom and Faye were so wonderful and responsive to any messages we had, and we spent every spare moment in the hot tub! The master suite was my favorite spot and loved the comfort of the big bed with the stove nearby.

Beautiful Cabin with alot of privacy we enjoyed the squirrel and bird food, very clean and everything was in working order.
Everything was cozy and perfect for a getaway in the mountains. When i had originally booked it was going to be my husband and 3 kids but then my husband and oldest son ended up having to work so it was just me and my 2 kids ages 17 and 13. At first I was nervous about thw drive to the cabin and runnig the hot tub by myself. But after the drive and getting thwre the nervousness was unnecessary the drive was just fine for me and the hot tub controls were even simpler than expected. My kids enjoyed the view and nature and I enjoyed the seclusion woth them. The cabin had eveything you could think of and anything you may have forgotten
My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. The listing is exactly as described and instructions for check in/check out are clear. It is a beautiful, quiet spot to spend a getaway and the hot tub was perfect too! Will return!
Put away your devices and get to know one another (and yourself) in the comfort of this cabin. The area is beautiful, the hot tub relaxing as is the home. If it is seclusion you are seeking - this is perfect for you. Currently, you cannot have an outside fire due to the area laws. I’m not wild about the platform that VRBO uses, but the platform does not interfere with the quality of one’s stay.
My Wife and I been wanting to do this trip. We were a little concerned with renting a cabin in mountain with a Motorcycle. This place is as the owners Tom and Faye described.. I would for sure recommend. It had all you needed to make your stay like you were in your own home. Location was Great. Thank you. Ron and Joni.
We stay at this cabin, a half dozen times, each time better than the last. Always clean, and while the driveway is steep, it is easily navigable, even in a lowered Mini Cooper. Chances are pretty good we will be back! Oh, and did I mention hot tub?
We booked this cabin for our fall vacation to the smokies... all of the communication was perfect, and when there was an issue with the electricity on site the owners were extremely accommodating and proactive in making our stay there the best it could possibly be! All amenities available were exactly as described, and the cabin was super clean. Certainly one of the absolute best cabins (and renters) in the smokies!!!!
Very clean. Basement living area was very nice with the hot tub on the deck. We enjoyed the morning sun and the quiet wooded surroundings. Accessing the property was daunting at first, but quickly becomes familiar. Great location and area.
2 couples enjoyed a week in this cabin. We found the location to be convenient - within 45 minutes of Fontana Dam, Bryson City, Joyce Kilmer Forest, etc. (remember it’s mountain driving). Cabin itself is isolated, and quiet. Owners provide clear instructions about what they do and don’t provide - take note! We appreciated the firewood and bird seed, little touches that made things pleasant.
Well equipped, super private, clean, comfortable. Good for a family or just a couple. Hotop works great. Master bedroom have everything you need for a peaceful morning including coffee maker, mini fridge and a microwave. The house have everything you need to get away from the hustle and bustle. Driveway is pretty steep but doable, we hauled a motorcycle trailer and it was ok.
The cabin was perfect!! It was just like it was described. It was very clean and smelled so good!! We had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Just remember to bring your paper products as stated in information given. The area is beautiful and very peaceful. We got lots of peace and relaxation which is exactly what we needed and went for. We hope to return and stay again. You will not regret staying in this beautiful home in the mountains. Thanks for sharing your home. The host are very nice and great communication.
Property was clean, spacious, and came with full kitchen. Huge downstairs bedroom. Steep driveway! Close to Bryson City and Cherokee shopping. Plenty of hiking and waterfalls nearby. No signal but Starlink provided. Would suggest installing a dead bolt on door to make guests feel more secure. Lastly, the email I recieved did not have pin for key lockbox. I contacted owner through phone number and he provided the pin.
The Pines cabin was perfect for our family. Easily accessible. Gorgeous views. It felt like home while we were there. Close to places to hike and not a far drive to Cataloochee to ski/snowboard. Wish we never had to leave.
