Our group of 7 friends had a super week at the house! This was our 6th trip to the Oregon coast and this house is our favorite! Plenty of comfortable beds for everyone, well stocked kitchen, wonderful beach, and stunning ocean views! We hope to return!

My family had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful - we spent lots of time just looking out the windows! This house had everything a person would ever need, from a well stocked kitchen and plenty of extra linens, to lots of games and puzzles! We liked it so much we might just have to make a return trip sometime!

Best place ever

This was our 2nd year for our spring family vacation. Perfect house for 5 adults and a 4 and 2 year old. Lots of room and most importantly with kids, the beach is right outside the door. Kids didn't want to go home. Rockaway is a fun little town. This house is a great place for adults but an absolute gem for families with kids. Pull out drawers and there's always something for the little ones to play with. We always bring a puzzle table to set up on the kitchen island; manage to get 2 1000 piece puzzles done during our 4 night stay. This time our 4 year old joined in and with just a "little' help managed to help us finish. So much fun always. We will return.

Family getaway

This property is perfect even when the weather is not. We enjoyed 5 days of beautiful Pacific Ocean during high winds, rain and sleet. Windows all around gave us spectacular views and sounds while the fireplace kept us cozy for playing cards, puzzles,and reading. Perfect reunion site for us 7 seniors.

Had a wonderful stay!Location is everything! Just a few small things: downstairs master shower head needs replacing, couldn’t figure out the disposal, but that could be us, upstairs bedroom next to the kids room needs a new mattress, and wifi was initially an issue , but Matthew had someone out the next morning to repair it- thank you! Beautiful home! Everyone will have great memories here! Hated to leave. Cheers!

Great location for small business meetings

Beautiful house and great view of ocean view and access. The house had many amenities in the kitchen since we cooked many of our meals. Bedrooms were very comfortable and good number of bathrooms for all. We struggled in the evenings in finding restaurants open due to issues at the restaurants. We were able to find options B or even C if original desired restaurant wasn't open.

Was beautiful view. We had very stormy weather but being so close to the ocean we still had a marvelous view through the big picture windows. It was very cold outside so had a few complain of the upstairs bedrooms being too cold. The fireplace was nice downstairs and the temperature was good there.

Beautiful property right on the beach!

Great location. House is right on the beach, is well stocked and has everything that is needed. Great for large group gatherings. Would stay there again. Couple of items that require some attention however...great room sofa is shedding its feather stuffing and may need to be replaced. Is also difficult to sit in. Propane barbecue is well used and has a make-shift drip pan that just doesn't keep all the grease intact in one place; no grill cleaning tools could be found. Mattress springs in right front bedroom can be felt when laying on bed so mattress may need to be replaced. Minor issues but worthy of commenting on.

What a beautiful home!

We came late May for a graduation trip with eight family members. Everyone agreed that the house was beautiful, there was plenty of room for everyone, it was stocked with most everything we needed and felt like home. The attention to detail by the host was beyond our expectations and we could tell they work hard to make sure that you have anything you could possibly need. We had some chilly nights while we were there, but with the heater everyone was very warm and comfortable. There was direct beach access on both sides of the house. The access might be difficult for someone with mobility issues, but we loved being able to go down to the beach whenever we wanted to. We were centrally located in Rockaway Beach and everything we wanted to do was just minutes away. We took trips to Tillamook creamery, and Haystack rock, both within a very short drive of the house. We had several questions for Matthew coming in and during our trip, and he was always friendly and prompt to reply. Everyone in our party said that they would come back again and we would be happy to recommend this house to anyone visiting Rockaway Beach.
