Rustic Cabin at the Lake - Campfire - Near Marina

Our Cabin is located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains and is only 10 mi to Branson, Missouri. Adventure awaits in the historic fishing village of Rockaway Beach, which is located on the shores of Lake Taneycomo, a part of the famous White River Basin. Anglers come here from far and wide for a Trout fishing experience that is second to none. Rent a boat at the nearby Marina (2 blocks away) and travel a few minutes upstream to Branson Landing for a unique dining and shopping experience.
The space
From the moment you walk in you feel as if you are at a special retreat at the lake. The cabin has a rustic theme and the outdoor space comes to life at night with the campfire and string lights. The deck, BBQ and fire pit area is a shared space.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire place including the outside campfire pit and BBQ areas.

Great hideaway cabin

It was nice and quiet, and we saw a deer and squirrels in the yard.

Brief getaway

Basic, clean. Bed not very comfortable. Arrived late so no real contact with manager other than email and didn’t get adequate details about lock code or WiFi but figured them out without having to call.

Carpet smelled like poooooo!!!

Carpet was wet and stunk They should NEVER put carpet in a cabin. Water stood in shower as you were using it. No fans or chairs. I liked it but it could be a lot better. It was our 45 wedding anniversary and we loved being there just a few problems. Also it needs block out curtain.
