I’m writing this review because I don’t feel the current reviews accurately reflect the condition of the property. The host was genuinely lovely, friendly and very helpful, and the linen and towels were clean, which I appreciated. However, the motel itself is quite run down and in need of some serious maintenance. There were marks and dirt on the walls, DIY repairs and patched holes, chipped and missing sections, very tired furniture and frayed carpet throughout. There also wasn’t a proper doona provided, just a sheet with throw blankets. What was disappointing is that a lot of the issues could actually be improved quite easily. A good clean, fresh coat of paint and some basic repairs and updating would make a huge difference to the overall feel of the rooms. If you simply need somewhere to stop and rest your head for the night, it may be adequate. However, based on our experience, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for families with children.

The kitchen needs an overhaul. It needs tidying up around the grounds. Would be nice to have access to vacumn cleaner to keep the room tidy I am aware we were staying in serviced appartments. The staff were very accommodating. A few more utensils. The stay was good.
