We had a short trip, but loved the stay.Enjoyed coffee on the back porch and were able to see some small wild life in action. Cabin was very clean and just perfect for the two of us. Location was perfect and a short drive to kayak in the caves.
Really well maintained residence in a quiet and secluded scenic neighborhood. Really enjoyed the hot tub and wonderful firepit area. Quiet and relaxing for sure!
The house was clean with great amenities and was perfect for our family of five. Access to trails onsite was a perk that the kids especially enjoyed. Great location with access to local restaurants. The host provided some recommendations at our request which were spot on, and checked on us during the stay to ensure we were comfortable. We would definitely rent here again.
The cabin was perfect and had everything that we needed to cook meals and to have a great time. Me and my wife had an amazing time soaking in the hot tub, cooking some great food on the propane grill, and sitting by the fire pit outside enjoying the quiet. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We definitely plan to go back next year.
My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary weekend away in this cabin. Cabin was clean and didn't have any issues we noticed. The location was great and close to activities and restaurants. The road up is steep but manageable. I would recommend bringing or buying water - it's not horrible, but, like other cabins we've stayed at, does have that sulfur smell and can be a little brown. The hot tub was really nice!
Very cozy. It had snowed recently so hill up was sketchy. We had to slide down the first try and made it the second try. By the time we left it was in great shape. Trash outside was full when we got there. I would imagine due to the weather. Great area and hot tub was extremely clean and comfy.
Everything was majestic! From the drive in to the scenery from the balcony, we were so happy with the choice we made. Literally we were minutes away from going knacking & it was the most fun we had in a long time. Afterwards we rented a 2 hour slingshot up the road to drive through the Nada tunnel other site seeing spots. For the 1st two days we had heavy thunderstorms but nothing took away from the cabins beauty!
The listing is dead on accurate. And it's even prettier in person. It's a perfect location for the major tourist spots. The owner leaves a catalog detailing everything in the area. The hot tub and the balcony...gosh, we didn't want to leave. We will 100% recommend this property to others!
We really enjoyed our time at Dreamscape! The Gorge is wonderful, and this cabin is right in the heart of it all, but very clean and modern, for those of us not interested in really “roughing it”. Loved the hot tub and fire pit, and the beds were comfy and clean! Only complaint is the lack of water pressure in the shower. The rainfall shower head is pretty, but maybe not the most practical choice considering the corrosion that comes with well water. Still by no means a dealbreaker…we would definitely stay here again!
House was very clean and well kept! There are some nice hiking trails on property that are worth checking out. The property is also central to other local attractions. We enjoyed the fire pit area every night as well. The steps going to the upstairs beds are extremely steep. We were a little nervous about our 3 year old trying to use them in the middle of the night but luckily had no problems. We definitely plan to book again!
We arrived on a Sunday, and the house was immaculate! Loved the gated community and privacy of the house. We had literally everything needed to cook with kitchen appliances and cookware. StayOver thought of everything. We ran into a couple of issues, but the team was super prompt in responding! Thanks again for housing us while we had a wonderful week long vacation in Kentucky.
The cabin was very clean, we were happy with our Stay overall. The only complaint we have is with the shower/bathroom. The smell of rust is overwhelming. We got out of the shower and our skin smelled like rust. I was not able to wash my hair because of the shower pressure and because of the smell I did not want my hair to smell like. Besides, that was a nice place.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin for a few reasons:
-close to activities like the reptile zoo, disc golf course, a few restaurants, and about 30min drive to RRG trails/sight-seeing areas
-hot tub was great for a relaxing dip in the morning and evening
-fire pit with a nice view of the stars
-we had everything we needed including toilet paper, paper towels, salt/pepper, pots and pans, couches and TV inside, chairs outside
The only thing we felt was not ideal was the fairly noticeable coppery smell of the well water while showering. I totally understand that this is a property in a remote area and the property owner likely has no control over it. However I think it's potentially useful to others to know if they're planning on showering in their bathing suit before/after a hot tub dip, because the smell stuck with my swimsuit.
