We loved the cabin and had a great experience seeing and exploring the Red River Gorge region.
Also, there are good food/dining options nearby.
Hope to return again in the future.
Seven of us stayed for a weekend girls’ trip. Property was very clean, updated, secluded and close to restaurants and activities. The twisty stairs were a little tricky but as long as we moved carefully and slowly we had no issues. Great stay!
We came to kayak in the caves and climb to natural bridge and this place was just minutes away. Nice layout, nicely tucked away from the other cabins, everything was as we hoped. Nice place, nice job managing the property
Overall, this was an amazing experiance. Husband needed to rejuvenate, so this cabin, location, attractions and restaurants is just what he needed! Thanks and we will be returning.
We love the Natural Bridge area so much. We always camped. This year for our anniversary we decided to get a cabin. This was the best idea. Absolutely LOVED the cabin itself. The location is prime . The amenities and everything was just as were advertised. We will return. Probably with the grandkids !
Quite cozy, beautiful setting with amazing views and natural beauty to be seen all around. Other than some small mechanical issues such as the washer wasn’t working while we was there. It was an amazing day and those things happen with machines. I would definitely visit again.
The cabin was cute, comfy and clean. Would definitely stay again. The cabin was somewhat private. You can definitely hear road noise and people from the other cabins when outside. The only issues were not all jets worked in the hot tub and the outdoor utensils were dirty. Whoever roasted marshmallows did not clean the skewers.
The property is well maintained and clean. Pretty hilly terrain. Parking is a little tight.
The digital electric rangetop is frustrating to operate and would frequently just stop working after 3-4 minutes. I appreciated the security of the front gate being closed all night. I would definitely visit the property again.

Great location!
We enjoyed our time at Hillside Haven. The best part was the location to hikes and restaurants. The pictures did not match the online description. There were no tables in the front or the back of the cabin. The bunk beds were completely out of the cabin and the moving pads were left all over the cabin. The family friendly hikes and climbing center were not maintained well. The stairs were scary for our 2 year old and us to go up and down at night. Overall, due to the location and convenience to the hikes and restaurants we would stay again in the future.
Cute Private Cabin with easy access to Red River Gorge
The stay was as nice as we could have hoped for... a few tips
1.) we did not realize until our checkout day how much in the way of private hiking trails are available right on the property with views of rock formations and small waterfalls - so we encourage others to take advantage of those private trails.
2,) the HOT water seems to give off a slight odor - but we did not really notice it at the hot tub and the cold water had no odor and more importantly no abnormal taste - which means the same for the ice.
3.) the cabin and back deck and firepit are feel very secluded - but you will hear road noise as there is really one major road to all of these attractions - and when trucks are going uphill they are noisy - so you will hear that.
4.) The kitchen for the cabin was large for such a small main floor space - the appliances are also very good for a small cabin. There are some nice easy access casual restaurants within a mile or two so you need not stock up much - still nice to make your own breakfast in the morning before heading out.
5.) there is a large loft space at top of attractive S shaped cedar stairway with one large Queen and two bunk beds - so sleeping got six up there with plenty of space for kids privacy for board games and TV - BUT - there is only one bathroom on the main floor - so sleeping a few small kids in the place would be OK - but if you have a few teenagers - bathroom time could get to be a battle. I would suggest this is best a ONE family rental
We loved this cabin and the location. The staff was very easy to get a hold off and such a smooth checkin/checkout process. The cabin was extremely clean and such a great location.
