Family friendly but options for couples too - stayed at the Royal so can't speak to the other hotels but the rooms were clean and the staff was excellent. So much fun! Can't wait to go back!

A Stone’s Throw Away was the perfect spot for a beautiful and peaceful getaway. Hotel staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. The views were stunning from the hotel. The pool was warm and clean. It was nice to feel like we were in a private hotel. It was very quiet at night, and the rooms were always cool. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit the Bahamas. Not wheel chair accessible.

It was just okay. If you are REALLY trying to do a bare bones vacation, it’s fine. The room was clean but was very small and the bathroom was cramped. The appliances are outdated. The worst thing was that none of the lights worked except for the bathroom lights. I asked someone to fix it and they never did. I’m just going to go the all-inclusive route next time. We ended up spending a lot on food and taxis anyway. The best thing about the resort is really the Sandyport town itself. It’s a lovely little area with a small but good selection of restaurants. The Bon Vivants coffee shop/bar was my favorite. It was a great place for coffee during the day, and a fun yet cozy bar atmosphere at night. If you eat at a table by the deck ledge at Spritz you’ll see a sea turtle swimming right by where you’re sitting. I would definitely stay in Sandyport again, but I would try to find someplace to stay other than the Sandyport Resort. It’s not really a “resort.” It’s a very small hotel.
