Super 8 by Wyndham Dyersville near Field of Dreams
8/10 Good
"All common areas and room was very clean. Definite odor of carpet fresh type cleaner, which was not pleasant but tolerable. Hotel is very basic but beds are comfortable and it was quiet. Staff were very pleasant and helpful."
Secluded Retreat ~ Indoor Pool ~ Hot Tub ~Close To Sundown Mountain
10/10 Excellent
"Three generation stay with ages 9-71. Everyone loved it. Indoor pool and hot tub were amazing and really beneficial to avoid sunburn and the air quality days due to northern wildfires. The view is amazing! Love that there is shampoo/conditioner/wash in showers and hand soap. Everything was full too! Not just a few squirts left in the bottle like other places. Given dishwasher detergent and some laundry supplies too. The house was slightly warm, but the heat index was 110. Daytime temps couldn’t get below 78 downstairs and 84 upstairs. Eventually cooled at night, but never during the day. Asked the owner for some lighter sheets and curtains to keep out the sun from the bedroom and they were brought the next day. Loved the pickleball court, ping pong, firepit! I would recommend a larger grill for bigger groups and those who like to grill veggies along with meat. No covered parking but no big deal, plenty of space. The best part - VERY CLEAN. Absolutely delighted that we did not have to pre-clean everything when we arrived, as we have before. All dishes are plastic, but microwave and dishwasher safe. Lots of coffee to use. Icemaker in freezer. Fridge was large and fit everything for our group to eat in and cook for 5 nights. Great stay!"
"We had a wonderful stay at Timberside! Everything thing was clean, check-in was a breeze and everything was as pictured. There are extras included such as shampoo and conditioner, yard games and a fresh loaf of zucchini bread! John was very responsive and the location was perfect. It’s just a couple of minutes from town but you wouldn’t know it once you are there. Our family really enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend."
