"The perfect waterfront cabin in the woods. No airplanes overhead. No highway/car noise. Just birds, frogs, crickets and peace. The cabin was very comfortable with everything you need if you just wanted to spend the week in the woods. You can find a grocery store with fresh eggs and cheese curds about 10-15 minutes away. Host communicated very well and was available for questions. Air conditioning units worked well and evening breezes made sleeping comfortable l."

"The Island House was very comfortable and roomy. Large open spaces allowed communication between areas. Furniture was spacious and relaxing. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the table on the screened porch looking out over the water. The kitchen had all the things we needed and we managed to get 10 people seated around the circular table for dinner. AND, there were spaces you could go to get away from the crowd. We loved staying there. It was fantastic!"

"The person that greeted me and checked me in, was very nice and expressed a willingness to help with anything that I needed. The only thing that I thought could be better was that they could’ve had a little notepads in a room for me to write on. Overall, it was a good stay."

"We traveled for the Oshkosh Air Show. Accommodations in the area were at a premium. The location and price worked for us. The property includes some older buildings that appear to have monthly rentals. The main building itself was fine. We had a few problems in our room. When staff was contacted the issues were resolved immediately."

"This is a newly completely renovated cabin which is very nicely decorated and well appointed. The hosts have furnished the cabin with everything you could need for your stay. We did have an issue with the outdoor grill and the host was over in a matter of minutes to help us with it. The natural setting it is in is very relaxing. The deck is furnished with very comfortable chairs with cup and phone holders. Deer frequently wander through, and squirrels and chipmunks scamper through the trees. Taylor Lake boat launch is 1/4 mile from the cabin. This is a great location to the town of Waupaca and many outstanding restaurants that surround the Chain of Lakes. We hope to make this cabin an annual destination for us when we come to the Waupaca area."
