We have stayed at La Maison before as our last day in Italy because of the convenience of being minutes from the sea, great seafood restaurants, and the airport is the reason we selected it. However, our stay in August 2023 we arrived to find dog turd in the garden outside our little ground floor room. To be fair we did not complain to the management and it should have been the responsibility of the dog owner but it is still a detail that should be mentioned. We would return again.

We enjoyed our last night in Rome at La Maison Jolie. Since we rented a car, we had to return the car to its off airport site in Fuimincino. It was just 5 minites awzy fro La Maison Jolie. It couldn't have worked out better. The young man managing the property was most helpful in evey way.

Great for the money
Great place overall. Clean, comfortable beds. Check was a little stressful because we arrived after midnight and no reception, I was exhausted and not sure what to do or where to go, or if I was in the right place… but I called and someone helped step by step get in the gate and to the room. The gentleman at the reception in the morning was so friendly, and so helpful!

Alex was very nice. Completed checkin quickly. He walked us to the apartment room. It has a locked gated private courtyard at the room front so entry is double locked. Alex gave us parking and dining recommendations. The apartment has dishes, a small refrigerator and a cooktop with 4 burners. It had plenty of very hot water, so be careful not to get burnt! Area is quiet and felt safe, even when we checked out at 0400. Would stay again.

Clean, simple, safe. Kitchen wasn't very equipped but we were only there one night so didn't matter. I was given the contact of the cab driver to the Fiumicino airport. I was under the impression it was a private taxi. After he picked me up we still had to pick up someone else. In addition, each family paid $25 and a single man paid $20 which is ridiculously expensive.

It is not equipped with pots and pans, as the reservation only includes accommodation and not all rooms have a kitchenette.All hotels located in the airport area are penalized by the rates applied by taxi companies and private shuttle services, because the amount paid for a very few kilometers can be expensive, but this does not depend directly on the hotel, but we suggest the cheapest way.Hope to have you as a guest again in the future.Best Regards,

The hotel is 10 minutes or less from the airport which is great because it’s in a quiet safe area away from chaos. They have great transportation. Clean area and the hotel is close to the beach by car less then 10min. The hotel is close to a grocery store that has it all. And also they have very handsome receptionist.

This was a budget friendly, near the airport stay on the night before a departure. It met the essential needs: clean, comfortable bed, shower, elevator, food options within walking distance, relatively quiet neighborhood, minimal air traffic noise

It has been over a year, time to adjust to COVID!
La Maison Jolie is in a gated community with many long-term residents as well as the hotel. There is an elevator. There is wifi but no on-site food. The location seems very safe & quiet. The room was spacious, clean & included a kitchen. Now the not-so-good parts. There is no person on site currently to greet you when you arrive, so you need to email or WhatsApp your documents to them beforehand. They will then put your key in a locked box & send you the information on how to open the box. I made the mistake of not recording this information somewhere that was not internet-dependent & I couldn't access it when I got there. This was an ordeal; luckily, my Italian-speaking boyfriend was able to talk to a long-term resident & get him to call the main office, who send someone down to help us. If you are not fluent in Italian, don't make the mistake I did! The wifi in my room was very spotty, so you might need to leave your room to use the wifi. The information posted on the doors was woefully out of date - including information about how to call reception using the non-existent "room phone" & information on non-existent airport transport options. The worst part of the experience was my interactions with the staff. Rather than concentrating on solving problems, they kept saying that it was all because of covid. This seemed like an invalid excuse; they have had over a year to post new info on the doors. Long story short, be prepared to put work into getting the info you need.

Nice stay
Comfortable room with friendly, efficient staff. Easy 30 minute stroll into town for many restaurants etc. But there is an excellent pizzeria, Due Pini, closeby. Fruit shop and supermarket are also close.

Disappointing way to end our trip
No Wify in our room. They ckamef you had to be in the comom area. No wify there. A glass lid in the breakfast room covering the Danish fell and broke. We got charged for it. I have never experienced anything like that in my years at hotels. Room was clean eccept for the stained shower curtain. Flat hard pillows.
