"A lovely restful stay. Our suite was beautiful, delicious breakfast in the mornings, very nice heated swimming pool and a ping-pong table. There's also a separate shared kitchenette and fridge/freezer for guests which is handy so you can prep a picnic or make a salad or pasta for dinner in the garden. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We had a great time."

The main house is beautiful (some renovation work is ongoing but is unobtrusive); our room was very comfortable; breakfast was very good; the swimming pool was fantastic and the welcome we received (from reception staff and from the owner and his wife) was very warm and friendly. "What an amazing treat! We wanted a place halfway between Paris and La Roche Posay, our destination and I found Chandon. Who knew what an amazing place this was. The Chateau Chandon is breathtaking and this hotel, adjacent and a short walk over, was fantastic! I highly recommend."
