"This is the second time I have stayed at this property, and it gets better every time! They are working so hard to make a better experience for their visitors. Every time I’ve been there, something new has been added. I WILL be staying here again!"
"This cottage was just adorable and made a great home base for our trip to the Bitterroot Valley. Everything was as depicted in the listing. The furnishings were an eclectic mix of antiques and new appliances and decor, and the views were out of this world. We would sit in our rocking chairs each morning on the porch, enjoying the quiet and the mountain scenery. For groceries, the Super 1 grocery store was only a few miles away from us. We realized just before we left on our trip that the cottage did not have AC, a concern because the forecast was for the mid 90’s.Brenda assured us there would be plenty of ceiling and floor fans and suggested opening the windows at night and then closing them up in the morning. We did this and were pleasantly surprised that the cottage stayed fairly cool, even when it was 95 outside. She also mentioned they may be putting AC in down the road, which I think would be helpful for when the air quality isn’t optimal. We would have liked to have had a washer and dryer on site, but brought enough clothes that we managed without them. We greatly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage and highly recommend it to anyone coming to the Valley."
"Room was quiet and clean. We didn’t eat breakfast. Staff was friendly and helped my mom carry her luggage up the stairs. There isn ’t an elevator. The beds were pretty comfortable. I would stay here again."
"I simply cannot say enough good things about the City Center Motel. This was one of several stays in a road trip through BC, MT and ID and without a question our top pick! First out, the owner (who happened to be on site when we checked in) is lovely. She went above and beyond to accompany special requests, made wonderful locale-relevant suggestions, etc. and is someone who clearly cares deeply about her community. Our room (King Studio) was completely spotless--immaculate really. Welcoming. Tastefully and thoughtfully executed--Beautifully made out beds with extra yummy linens and deliciously thick towels. There are so many little touches that subtly move this a notch above simply a great night's stay. Small things like the mirror inset into the big walk-in shower (which was a delicious with strong rainshower) for my partner's morning shave, a refrigerator/freezer that accommodated everything we'd packed). And a sweet takeaway tote that is always useful for roadtripping! Their name says it --great central location that is an instant walkabout to this wonderful and fully charming town. We will make a point to route through Hamilton again and again!"
