"Great view. Hated that the 5th floor bar was open to the public. Half of the front desk staff were unfriendly. They other half were courteous and helpful. Waitress at breakfast went out of her way to interact with my 5 year old and was the highlight of our visit."

"The cabin was very warm, cozy and clean. Everything we needed and more for our weekend stay. Didn’t want to leave. Would definitely book again and recommend to others. Loved it! "

"Gym well equipped "

"We had an overnight stay at the Red Roof Ashtubula-Austinburg. I had reserved 3 rooms and 2 out of the 3 were not cleaned properly toilet was dirty, nasty comforter, sheets, and mattress pad (I have had this happen at big chain hotels as well). The front desk guy was nice and looked at the rooms and moved them with no issue. Some went out and bought their own sheets after that. We definitely bought our own washclothes and some bought towels. I travel with bleach wipes and I will say for a motel my room was pretty clean except the light switches. We did not utilze the bar. Couldn't even tell you if it was open. For a quick overnight stay it would suffice just make sure to check the comforters and sheets."

"The view is absolutely stunning. The beds are comfortable. The shower is nice and large. The hot tub was clean and hot! The host gave great restaurant recommendations upon request. All in all, a great weekend at the lake! We were there for a swim meet at the Spire Academy and it was a quick and easy 15 min. drive to get to the competition. We visited in March/ off season. I’m sure this place is even more fun in the summer. "

"The facility was clean, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were nice and breakfast was good. I would definitely stay again. My only negative would be that the parking lot was in poor condition, a lot of ruts and cracked pavement. I just think that businesses don’t have the budget today to spend on the outside infrastructure."

"We had a fantastic time at this property, with awesome views of the lake and comfortable driving distance to everything we had planned. There aren't many true lakefront properties available during the off-season, so this was perfect! The renovations to the property were also a plus. "
