"We stayed 3 nights in July. The walk-out room was a great choice for us. We were surprised at how quiet the room was. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean. The shower was amazing! The beach was a nice addition, and we used it after returning from the nicer beaches in Higgins Lake State Park. There are plenty of beach lounges and picnic tables for you to use at this Hotel. The staff was amazing! The Breakfast was sufficient. Toast, waffles, cereal, juice, hard-boiled eggs, etc.. I will definitely keep this Hotel in mind when traveling through this area!"

"The hotel rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was excellent throughout our stay. I also really appreciated the large designated area for dogs to do their business, which made traveling with a pet much more convenient. I would have gladly given this hotel five stars if it had a swimming pool. That was my mistake for not checking before booking. If they ever add a pool, this would easily be one of my top picks for value and pet-friendly accommodations."

"This little cabin exceeded our expectations. It was very clean with all of the essentials. It has a full size coffee pot, the freezer has ice trays, and there is a microwave, oven, and toaster. The bathroom is very small with a stand up shower but that wasn’t a deal breaker. We were able to bring our dogs which was a plus and it is a great neighborhood to take a walk in. The cabin is not on the water but within walking distance down to it (see picture for reference). Unlike other places we have stayed and you had to go through VRBO to contact the owner, he has provided his email and phone number on the wall inside the cabin. The porch is also nice for sitting out on to have your coffee in the morning. We loved our stay and will definitely be back."
