Amazing stay! Would do it again 100%! The stairs to get to the city were rough, but manageable. Breakfast and dinner buffets were phenomenal! Rooms were spacious and nice. Loved our experience here!

We arrived late due to missing a conncection on the train and they were polite enough to wait late for us. They were very friendly. Food was great. Beautiful location and hotel. Very nice walk to the center. We loved it here.

Beautiful place! Recommend using the address of the hotel as at night it is difficult to find since it is in the forest. The breakfast was amazing. We had twin rooms. The beds were very comfortable, but the rooms were pretty austere. We were on,y there for one night and found it to be a pretty cool place.

Almost a fairytale place with wonderful surroundings trails and Tauber river runs along with the hotel. Walk up a stairway easily to get into the town Rothenburg. A free sauna and swimming facilities in walking distance, it was a wonderful package we could not let it pass by without giving it a try! We love everything about this hotel, it will be a place to stay any time we come to this part of Germany!

A bit of a walk if you have a car. All but the main entrance are available to get back in the hotel, so if you walk out of 7th floor, to get back in you have to walk all the way back around the hotel. The city is beautiful and a great walk to get dinner.

The hotel's architecture and grounds were amazing. Just beautiful. Around every corner something new to behold. 15 minute walk to town. Breakfast was exceptional lots to choose from. We had a twin room which was very basic considering the opulence of the hotel.

Would not recommend the room I was assigned - #130. Difficult to access room w/heavy suitcase carrying up staircases & location was far away from other hotel services. Overall, it was clean & quiet, but extremely small /awkward for more than one person. Sorry, but felt like I was staying in the maid’s quarter! Should have paid more to stay on floors 4-7. Staff was extremely kind & friendly. Breakfast was lovely, varied & delicious! Be sure to book any taxi service the night before as we ended up walking to the train station … long walk!

Wish we had more than 1 night booked. Beautiful hotel and room. The American in me wishes there was AC, but luckily it wasn't unbearably hot. Staff was so friendly and the 24 hour drink and snack salon was really nice.

We very much enjoyed our stay. In fact, we were sad we had booked only one night! The staff was very friendly, the room was lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel itself was beautiful! We would love to stay here again.

Outstanding establishment. Conveniently located. Just close enough to the old wall but situated in a park like setting. Breakfast staff was busy at a 9:00 am rush hour. The coffee was good. We will be back for sure.

Very good. Beautiful old building. Very quiet. Rooms clean. We had a balcony which was great, like being in a castle. The beds are comfortable if not high quality. Walk into town is ideal. Lots of steps but one you have done those, you are there! Free parking which was beneficial to us. If following sat nav, look out for sign on sharp corner which states hotel entrance. Hotel entrance is hidden and it’s a narrow private road into grounds. Breakfast sufficient. Great find!

Gorgeous building and setting, walkable to historic Rothenburg, clean, attentive staff, nice breakfast - all adding to a pleasant overnight stay. Glad to have on-site parking but spaces were very tight.
