"Socrates hotel is in a great quiet location with the beach, Stalis, Malia strip and the old town all within 10 to 15 minutes walk. "Rooms are very spacious, the pool area is lovely and there were always enough sunbeds without the need to get up early. The hotel is situated in a lovely peaceful location but only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Malia in one direction and Stalis in the other direction. It was a short walk to the bus stop to get the bus into Heraklion. "We visited Domes of Elounda with our 8 month old baby and from the moment we arrived it was amazing. It's so peaceful and serene, the pools are heated and the perfect temperature for a baby and the sea was crystal clear and so inviting. Every member of staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay, and they were all amazing with my daughter. It was our first time travelling with a baby and we felt so welcome. There was a cot and high chair in our room when we arrived and high chairs and cutlery/plates/bowls for kids at every restaurant. 10/10 would recommend!"

"This is a fantastic hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The room was a good size and we were upgraded to a sea view top floor which was great as we werent overlooked in the hot tub. The pool area was fantastic, lots of beds, spacious, very comfy and gorgeousness infinity pools. We didnt use the al a carte restaurant but the buffet was great, varied and we were impressed that the head chef gave us a personal tour so we knew what the vegan options were. Thank you Yannis! Special shout out to Lucy and Marios too. "

"Exceptional stay. The property was amazing with lots to places to chill and relax. The food was absolutely amazing With lots of variety in the buffet including for kids and toddlers.
