"Hotel is a little bit tired but acceptable for the price. Breakfast was good. Disappointed to find out on arrival that the restaurant and bar were closed. It would have been useful to have known before as we had planned on eating there."

"The room was dusty and the cupboard area is very dated and in poor condition. The bathroom was very poor - useless shower with no power to the spray, dirty grout on tiles. Generally poor maintenance and cou la d do with a complete refurbishment. "

"I paid extra to book a Harbour View room but the room overlooked the ground floor dining area with air conditioning on its roof. The carpets and upholstery are worn out in places. We came back at the end of the day to find that the room had not been cleaned and then were told that we should should hang a sign to have the room serviced, which wasn’t told at check-in. "

"Stayed for a wedding which was fantastic all around. The grounds are incredibly scenic and the house is lovely. Had EV charging which was handy to leave with a full charge. Room was clean and tidy and everything we needed. Breakfast was really good, great selection and well cooked. Would stay again"

"Great location for catching cruise departures at City Centre and Horizon terminals. Sue at check-in was very professional and courteous. Only issue was trying to figure out how the heating in the room is designed…but, it was easily sorted with a call. "
