Lovely house with everything you need for your stay. The large decks were nice to sit out on in the evenings and enjoy the views. The owner was very accomodating with our needs.

Relaxing Family Vacation

Incredible Lake House, Exceptional Location!

This is a wonderful beautiful home on an incredible lakefront! I highly recommend this as long as you have the ability to climb stairs to get to the lake and boat dock! Beautiful Views and just an overall wonderful place to getaway from it all and relax and enjoy nature!

This is all in one sort of property. Great location, great view comfy beds. Located directly on the lake so no need to drive to a beach to swim. Fishing can be done at the spot as well. I highly recommend this property.

Last Summer getaway before school.

Last minute getaway with some friends and our kids before school starts. It was perfect! The plan was to visit Hot Springs but we never made because they kids had so much fun hanging out in the lake. We all slept comfortably and were able to hang out together and not fell crowded. A perfect weekend.

Great Thanksgiving Stay

Stayed for the week of Thanksgiving with family of 5 + parents and mother-in-law. It is a unique house in a quiet area with plenty of room and view was great. There were still leaves on the trees in late November and the mist coming off the lake in the morning was a great combination with coffee and a crossword. The house and kitchen were well-furnished. We all enjoyed the stay.

Perfect Spot for Family Time

The Blue Roost was the perfect spot for our two families to meet and reconnect. We spent hours on the dock and in the water. The view is spectacular and we enjoyed watching the deer and geese in the morning and the bats coming out at dusk. The house had plenty of room for the 9 of us and even in the blistering hot temps stayed cool. We cooked most of our meals at the house and there was no shortage of gathering spaces inside and out. Amber was welcoming and responsive when contacted. Hot Springs and all it has to offer is a short drive away. We hope to return again and highly recommend this property.

Perfect for family vacation

This is the perfect house for a family vacation. There are 2 bedrooms with bathrooms on the main floor along with 2 large tables and several cozy couches for lounging and looking out at the amazing view of the water and the tree covered hills across the lake. The tower has bedrooms plus a cozy hangout room (very cozy couch for napping). The porches are large and have great views. There’s a very nice rock sundeck by the water… For us, it was handy to have the ramp nearby to put our jet skis in and tie them to the dock. The neighbors were very nice. Lots of parking in the driveway. There are some stairs down to the water, but they are built in a way that didn’t even bother my knee (I’ve had 4 surgeries). They are short/wide steps with landings so easier to manage. And finally, this area of the lake is beautiful and not too busy. We highly recommend bringing friends and family and enjoy all this great lake house has to offer!

Beautiful lakefront property

My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much. We had 6 children ranging from 7-15 and 2 adults and had plenty of room. The tower is great for mobile kids but even small kids would do well on the downstairs sleeper sofa in the tower. The view is a dream. I think there’s 5 or 6 outdoor sitting areas, all with a great view. Even the front yard patio has a nice view of the landscaping. Everything was very clean and the lake is so convenient to just jump into on a hot day. We had all the pots we needed to cook with. I only found one pan but I also didn’t look that hard. The lake is deep so bring life jackets or floats. We used pool noodles and life jackets. It’s about a 20 min drive into town but I loved how peaceful it was being out in the country away from the hustle of the city. I will say, if you go outside at night be quick about it! It’s the country and bugs get in fast. Nothing negative about the house, just a tip. That being said, mosquitoes weren’t really an issue and we saw lots of beautiful lightning bugs. I’d love to stay here again .

We had the the best stay! The house had everything we needed and more! The kids played in the lake and had a blast, jumping off the dock. We brought our own lifejackets because we weren’t sure if there would be any and I’m glad we did. Check in with seamless and we really enjoyed the welcome basket and sample of drinks in the fridge.
