"We wish we'd had more time at this hotel. It's in a great location, the evening meal was excellent and the breakfast selection was extensive. We also have to give special mention to two members of staff who went above and beyond to help us with an issue which could have completely ruined our onward travel plans. We are very grateful to them and hope to visit this wonderful hotel again."

"Absolutely wonderful 3 nights stay, starting from very helpful staff and emails for a late night arrival, all the way through to all the smiles and hellos, fresh towels and extras for use at a sauna, and the ongoing offer to help. Decor was beautiful throughout. Loved the breakfast selection every day. Gorgeous bar sofas and drinks. And incredibly convenient location. Wishing all boutique hotels could be of this standard and quality."

"We loved this hotel for our stay in Alesund! It is perfectly located for walking around the city and accessing Mt Aksla. We had an upper floor superior room with a view over the rooftops to the water. Stunning!"

"Per was great to work with. Views and location fantastic! House had a bit of an odd layout, but all the rooms were very nice. Kitchen and dining area were great. Hot tub and sauna were a great bonus. Would definitely recommend."
