Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable lodging in a central location. Small water bottle in room at arrival would have been nice, but local mints in bathroom and Christmas chocolate on pillow were very thoughtful. Would also have liked to see homemade jam instead of high glucose factory stuff as an extra touch at breakfast. Blackout curtains worked and bathroom was modern and spacious. Would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt.

Nettes kleines Hotel im Stadtzentrum

Mir hat mein kleines gemütliches Economy einzelzimmer besser gefallen als die etwas nüchternen modernen Business-Zimmer meiner Freunde. Ich hatte ältere Möbel mit Charakter, eine blumenverzierte Gardine, die zum Teppichboden passte. Der Hotelparkplatz ist etwas klein, aber am Wochenende kann man auf dem Marktplatz parken.

Das Zimmer war ziemlich groß, was uns sehr überrascht hat. Auch das Bad war großzügig bemessen, das ist ja auch nicht immer selbstverständlich. Das war aber auch schon alles. Der Fussboden im Zimmer war echt nervig. Man konnte keinen einzigen Schritt machen ohne dass der Boden gequietscht hat. Was sehr störend ist wenn man nachts mal raus muss. Da ich eh Schlafstörungen habe ist mir das echt auf den Geist gegangenen. Möchte nicht wissen, wie es sich im Zimmer unter uns angehört hat. Eine Scheibe im Fenster hatte einen Sprung, es waren zu wenig Steckdosen vorhandenen und die Matratzen gingen gerade so. Wobei das ja jeder anders empfindet oder gewohnt ist. Im Treppenhaus, sehr verwinkelt, roch es sehr muffig, was auch nicht so angenehm war. Das Frühstück war nicht so besonders. Die Wurst- und Käseplatten waren recht klein, daher natürlich schnell leer. Es wurde allerdings meist zügig wieder aufgefüllt. Aber jeden Tag so ziemlich das gleiche Angebot. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, da gab es nichts zu beanstanden. Wir würden das Hotel, trotz der guten Lage und des Parkplatzes, nicht noch einmal buchen.

Ei kokolattiamattoa

Kaikenpuolin hyvä hotelli. Aamiainen ja sijainti loistava. Parkkipaikkoja löytyy hotellin takaa joitakin, muuten pysäköinti torilla poislukien toripäivät. Huone oli tilava ja eikä kokolattiamattoa joka on siis positiivista.

En övernattning

Elektronisk Check-Inn är ett ofog. Speciellt om det står personal 2 m ifrån som lika gärna kan göra jobbet. Nu fick de göra det ändå eftersom det inte fungerade på terminalen ifråga. I övrigt var det OK med rum,mat och parkering.

Die zentrale Lage zur Innenstadt ist nicht zu topp

Ein wunderbares Hotel im Herzen von Rudolstadt.Wer nostalgisch unterwegs ist findet in diesem Hotel alles was zum Wohlbefinden dazu gehört.Hier werden die Uhren zurückgedreht und der Urlaub fängt beim Einchecken an. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Direkt am Marktplatz gelegen, in der historischen Altstadt. Unweit des Schlosses. Sehr angenehm und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt perfekt. Bei längerem Aufenthalt würden der knarzende Holz fussboden stören. Das war ausreichend. Mittelmäßig.

Altstadthotel mit kleinen Schwächen

Altehrwürdiges Haus, das Knarren der Dielen zeugt auf liebenswerte Weise davon. Schönes Zimmer zum Markt hin mit Detailschwächen: Kopfteil vom Doppelbett angeschmuddelt, Fugen in der Dusche teilweise angeschimmelt, fehlende Rosetten an den Heizungsrohren im Bad, Kleiderschrank ließ sich nicht richtig schließen... Einige Kleinigkeiten halt, die mit relativ wenig Arbeit zu beseitigen wären. Toll ist der gratis Parkplatz im Hinterhof. Wenn man ein Zimmer zum Marktplatz hin hat und ger bei offenen Fenstern schläft, sollte man keinen allzu leichten Schlaf haben: zwei bis drei verschiedene Kirchenglocken läuten viertelstündlich die ganze Nacht.
