Loved it!

Loved this hotel!!!!! Quality. Wonderful room. Spacious, comfy and quiet. Great pool and sauna. Superb restaurant. Great food and wine. Slightly disappointing breakfast (limited). Awesome area with views and walks. I hope I get the opportunity to stay again.

dejligt værelse elendig restaurant

Hotellet er beliggende udenfor Rüdersheim i smukke omgivelser. Værelset var fint rengøring ligeså. Så selve opholdet var i orden. Men restauranten var under al kritik. Dårlig service i restauranten, vi ventede 1 time på vores valgte hovedretter. Mit kød var nærmest uspiseligt, og tjeneren på kanten til det arrogante. Så lad være med at spise på hotellet!

Wunderbare Lage des Hotels, allerdings ist selbiges in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer war von der Größe her eher ein Einzelzimmer, das Bett war bei Ankunft auch nur für eine Person gedeckt, gleiches gilt für die Handtücher.Daher stimmt für mich das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis auch nicht. Auch die Frühstücksleistung war eher mäßig für ein Hotel, das sich TOP-Hotel nennt.

Zijn maar 1 nacht op doorreis verbleven en kunnen dus niet alles beoordelen, maar het is een prachtige locatie en de medewerkers waren erg vriendelijk en gastvrij en het eten was goed.

Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir mit Sicherheit noch einmal wiederkommen werden. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Die ruhige Lage mit Wandermöglichkeiten direkt ab Haus hat uns überzeugt.

Wonderful relaxing hotel in the forest

This place is a great place to " get away from it all". Located above the Rhine in a forest,very quiet location. Many walks in the forest available. Great breakfast buffet.

Älteres Gebäude mit Charme. Zimmer war groß und ansprechend renoviert. Einziges Manko war die Duschwanne im Bad - sehr hoher Einstieg und für ältere Menschen eher schwierig machbar. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war ‚Corona-gerecht‘ geregelt und sehr reichhaltig. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden wieder buchen.

Completely overpriced hotel with 60s charm

For €140 we received a small room with outdated interior (carpets, curtains, bed, television). Overall, the hotel has not seen any investments since decades. The swimming pool is small, facilities in general are insufficient. In the area one can find fairly-priced accommodation, especially in some of the vineyards. That makes the offered value for money at this place even more outrageous.

Great gem in the middle of the hills

This hotel use to be a hunting lodge and it's away from the hustle bustle of the touristy town. You can enjoy the best of both worlds. The staff from front desk, concierge, cleaning and the restaurant/bar are wonderful. You can tell they love their jobs and will bend over backwards for you!!! I stayed in the main building with my dog which was no issue and they gladly accepted him. They let you bring your pet everywhere which is great and there are some nice hikes right out the front door. There are deer in a park next to the hotel as well as the ski lift/cable car which you can take into another town. You can also take a 30 minute walk or 8 minute car ride to this nice Park that has a cafe also a cable car which takes you over the vineyards into Rudesheim. I had breakfast every morning which was plentiful, great options and coffee was good too. Dinner was superb and service was even better. They built a community within the property that is nice that you don't get in bigger hotels. We met some great travelers from all over Europe some hiking, some doing a tour or just coming to Rudesheim for the weekend. The lounge is also cozy for a nice glass of wine and they have board games as well as you can bring your dog too. I can't wait to go back and recommend this hotel as a must.

Beautiful former hunting lodge in a quiet location

This hotel is a former hunting lodge now converted into a very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are extremely clean. Excellent breakfast buffet and nice meals are served in the restaurant. Lots of hiking around including to great viewpoints of the Rhine. If you are using public transportation then you will have to take a taxi from Rudesheim.

In the middle of the woods

Coming at night without a GPS and limited German, the hotel staff was extremely helpful and in the end well coming with a hot chocolate. The hotel is attractive as long as you like traditional furnishings, but it comes with an extraordinary view over rolling fields, lovely terraces and with a small private wellness area, pool and sauna WITH and adjoining private Garden. Swim, Sauna and sun yourself or gaze at the moon while you cool down. I only ate breakfast there, which was a generous buffet not the style of Germsn breakfasts. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Ruedesheim.

日帰りツアー客も多いリューデスハイムで せっかく泊まるのならば、 山下のつぐみ横丁と 山の上、両方を楽しめるのはいいと思う。 そう思わない人には不便な立地。 タクシーで駅または i から €11～15。 チェックインした後はホテルライフを、 チェックイン前かチェックアウト後に 下界を、 楽しめばいい。 プールは清潔。 夕食は鹿料理と自家製パテがおススメ。 サービスマンの対応もジェントル。 Wifi無料。 隣の敷地で飼っている鹿達を見るのを忘れずに。

Hotel was excellent, pool fitness center and sauna new and state of the art, location outstanding (need to have an auto), food was good, and staff accommodating. I recommend this hotel.
