La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ruidoso Downs
8/10 Good
"We had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice. The pool was clean, but the hot tub did not work. The room was nice but was missing a window shade..and there was a bright light outside the window. We made do. Though the hotel was generally clean, there could have been better attention to details, like vacuuming the hall carpet."

"Was in a convenient location in town."
Budget Lodge Ruidoso
8/10 Good
"This motel was exactly what I expected for the low price- an older place that could use some updates, but clean and centrally located. Breakfast was supplied, but was very basic- cereal, eggs, make-your-own waffles, mini muffins, and plain coffee. Being on the main drag, road noise was pretty bad, but firing up the in-room a/c fan drowned out most of it through the night. Parking lot entries are a little difficult- one is steep and narrow, the other opens near a busy intersection. I would stay again, if on another m/c trip on my own, but would never dream of bringing my wife here."
