There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever! "We stayed 10 days in the house, like at home. The rooms are clean and offering a lot of space for a big family(until 10 persons). You need a car to go at beach or nearest city, but it's not a big issue as you have a private and safe parc place for your car. "We really loved our stay at Posada Lunada. Javier is a great host. He welcomed us with a friendy smile and took the time to give us information about the best sites to visit in Cantabria, that he knows very well. We enjoyed the delicious home made breakfast. Thw orange juice was the best. Beautiful Posada, incredible view of the countryside from our window. The room is modern and the bed is very confortable. We hope to have the chance to stay there again. "

The highlight is the restaurant

"Nice modern feeling hotel/guesthouse with a very nice restaurant. There was safe parking at the back of the hotel for my motorbike and staff were welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is the highlight of this hotel but I think it may only be open some nights. Food was excellent quality and excellent value, a great dining experience. The only down side on my visit was the mosquitos which made my night uncomfortable. "
