About this property

Self contained studio room with private entrance and stunning sea views


  • Self contained studio room with lovely deck, outdoor furniture, BBQ and stunning sea views. Modern furnishings throughout.
    You have your own private entrance with onsite parking.
    We are only a 5 minute walk to the beach and village. Please note the property is elevated so you have a bit of a climb when walking up the driveway.
    The room is fitted with electric blinds for that extra bit of convenience.
    Room is fitted with an Air conditioner/Heat Pump.
    There is a Smart TV with free Netflix.
    We provide free unlimited Fibre Wifi.
    Lovely comfortable Queen size bed with all linen and bath towels provided.
    Ensuite bathroom has a big shower with double shower heads.
    Kitchenette is equipped with Microwave Oven, Kettle, Toaster, Bar Fridge and cutlery.
    Tea, instant coffee, sugar and plunger coffee supplied but not topped up during your stay if it runs out.
    There is also an outdoor shower to wash off after a day at the beach.
    Drying rack, iron and ironing board are provided.
    There is a Laundromat at the Top 10 Holiday Park which is only 5 minutes walk from the house.

    We have CCTV cameras installed for security purposes only.
    Guest privacy is guaranteed.

    Please note that the upstairs part of the house is occupied most of the time by the owner. Very quiet owners who respect their guests privacy and comfort.

We stayed for four days and absolutely loved our time here. The location is beautiful with stunning views, and the place felt so welcoming and well set up. Having coffee on the deck each morning was a real highlight. We’d love to stay again.

Russell is a charming small town in the Bay of Islands, and this studio provided the perfect place to explore the area. It is a lovely studio, with a breathtaking view of the bay, and within easy walking distance to everything in the town. To sit out on the patio in the evening with a glass of wine, we thought we had found paradise…. Highly recommended!!

A female, travelling alone, and this was a safe & wonderful studio accommodation! It was clean, comfortable & cozy, and conveniently close to the beach, local hikes, and all amenities in Russell. I was able to walk to most things, so having a safe spot to park my rental car was appreciated. I like to cook for myself much of the time when I travel (dietary concerns), and the tools and equipment for using the BBQ were available. That, along with fridge, toaster, mic & tea kettle, covered all the cooking requirements for my stay. I particularly enjoyed my morning tea on the deck, while watching the boats coming & going in the bay. What an outstanding view! Thank you so much!

What a magic place to stay!

We loved this gorgeous little unit, it was beautifully appointed with everything we needed, and of course phenomenal views! Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and very generous in allowing our kids to pitch a tent on the front lawn. All in all a very memorable stay and we will be back.

Unforgettable Stay in the Bay of Islands

Perfect location, amazing views. The studio had everything we needed and was an ideal base to explore the Bay of Islands area. The centre of Russel was very easy to walk to and has a good selection of places to eat and drink. Would happily have stayed for longer . Thankyou

Great spot for exploring the bay of islands

The apartment was clean and had a fantastic view of the bay. About a five minute walk to the wharf and main street, keep in mind the drive way is quite steep. Super easy to catch a water taxi or get to meet up spot for tours. The hosts were very kind and accommodating to a last minute schedule change. Would absolutely stay again!

This is a wonderful apartment as a base in bay of islands. Russell is a great little town and this apartment is central but with a great view over the town and the sea. If you want to enjoy a sunrise you can lie in bed with the blinds up and it is fantastic. Highly recommend this as a place to stay

Loved our three night stay. The unit was extremely well appointed making the most of the fabulous views across the bay. The compromise for those views was the steep driveway but we just took the car down the street and parked up when we went out. Everywhere in Russell is easy walking distance from the property including the ferry, and a number of excellent eateries. Would definitely consider stayin again should we return to Russell.
