The house is in a peaceful location with a nice porch to sit on. It was conveniently located to the wedding venue we were attending and Fuglys for some food and a cold drink.
Stayed for two nights with 2 adult children. House was clean and comfortable. Cellular reception in the area seems to vary from hilltop to hilltop, so plan accordingly.
Very accurate listing description. Enjoyed the quiet property and our kids loved seeing the wildlife (deer, porcupine, garter snake and many birds). Very easy to follow rules. Didn’t mind the lack of TV and Wi-Fi. Watching DVDs on the projector was a hit for the kids. We’d book again.
Great place for an unconnected vacation. Took my boys and grandsons hunting and fishing. The owners were very easy to connect with. Mostly sat outside by the campfire after hunting and fishing all day. Very secluded and peaceful. Beds are very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Will definitely go back.
It was a perfect place to come back to after the family event's. Nice and quiet and all the amenities anyone could ever need. Would definitely stay again. Im new to the house renting thing but was only disappointed in the non refundable damage fee. Had to drop 1500 if you wanted it refunded which seems a little over kill in my opinion.
We came for my son's graduation weekend from U of I. Although it was a bit of a ways out, it was a perfect oasis to relax. My grand daughter's were delighted to find a Hello Kitty bedspread on their bunk bed!! We loved it here and will most definitely be back!! Beds were so comfy!! Thank you for this peaceful place!! What fun watching the projector movies and bon fire under the star filled sky. Just what we needed!! Made mother's day one to remember!! Hosts were excellent with response time on any questions.
We came to my alma mater, University of Idaho, for a tour for my daughter, a senior in high school, and to watch the Vandals beat Montana State! I loved my 7 years living in the Palouse and miss the place very much. Parents weekend had made in-town accommodations too expensive, and this retreat was priced just right, albeit a bit of a drive. The location, however, is dynamite. The accommodations are rustic and a bit spartan, but clean. I went for a hike on the property in the mornings and the scenery and landscape is incredible. All-in-all, we loved it. We also beat the breakfast crowd in Moscow by having a wonderful breakfast in Potlatch on our way into the game.
Enjoyed our stay on lovely property. Hiked around a bit and loved watching the grouse nesting just outside the cabin, sounds of foxes and coyotes… Would definitely return, and bring grandkids along next time
This is a very clean and an absolutely beautiful property. I am so glad we were able to stay here. The sky was clear and we were able to witness 4 falling stars during the recent meteor shower. Thank you!
The area was nice - about 45 minute drive to Moscow. The house was clean and rustic. We loved the property and the fire pit. Was nice to get away in the country. Just be aware that there is no WiFi 😊
This place is absolutely beautiful! It’s cozy, it’s homey and it’s everything I expected it to be and so much more! The beds were amazing, I slept like a baby every single night. Everything you would need for cooking and cleaning and everything in between. I was a little surprised that a friend had service up there, even in the house. If you’re looking for an amazing “glamping” vacation, THIS IS IT! We will be back! Spectacular!!!
If you are looking for a remote, quiet, getaway look no further. The serene views together with the down home small town America feel will not disappoint. Beds were great, house was clean, communication with owners was awesome. Our stay was during the winter and 4 wheel drive was needed for the drive way due to a heavy snow storm but the driveway was plowed for us on the 2nd day. A good point to note is the closest grocery store closes at 8 pm. Cell service was good but we were unplugged from internet and TV which added to our much needed quiet stay. Would recommend and will stay again.
We enjoyed our stay, I was a bit surprised that the house was an older mobile home. The property was awesome! Once we got in and settled, we discovered that the hot water in the master didn’t work very well, the two blue rocking chairs in the living room had a bad order and with 6 people we could have used some more toilet paper. One roll for each bathroom was not enough. Even with these small issues we still enjoyed our stay. Thank you Jeff
This rental was way larger than expected, plenty of bed space for guests to stay and large covered porch with chairs and tables. Kitchen is well-stocked with every pan, utensil, and knife you need to cook an awesome meal. Super clean, easy to communicate with the host who was always very nice. I will absolutely stay at this property again, we stayed mid-May and there were MANY native wildflowers to find. I would like to come back in the winter and utilize the wood stove. All of my guests were impressed with the space. It was perfect for a low-key weekend with friends. Thank you again!
We enjoyed the home and new it would be rustic but the mouse poop in the bathroom ( I cleaned up every morning)
was not acceptable also we could not get hot water out of the larger bathroom sink. We also smelled propane at the back door on 2 separate occasions.
