"Very neat, historic hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was fair sized and immaculate. The bathroom was comically small but this is a nearly 100 year old hotel. My friend had a "bigger" bathroom in his room so if it a huge issue for you, ask at the desk. According to the staff, Denny's up and left with 6 days notice. The hotel is working to have their own coffee shop open by the end of May There is major road construction in front of the hotel but this is scheduled to be completed by the end of June 26. Super pet friendly with several parks and green spaces nearby to walk your pooch. I will stay here again when returning to Ely"

"First impression: staff was not properly dressed. Ice machine did not work, which was a huge inconvenience! Weatherstripping around door was partially unattached with a hole big enough for a mouse to come in. Staff was not on site from 8 PM until 7:00 AM. Breakfast was supposed to be at 7:00 AM. A staff person showed up at the 7:01 wearing pajama pants and had kids in tow. Needless to say, coffee was not brewed, and all there was was old fruit and instant oatmeal packets were hard. Needless to say, we will never be back nor will we recommend the place to anybody we care about."

"This was the cleanest room I've stayed in. Everything was great except the door would not shut properly. I had left to go get something to eat, and when I returned the door was was unlocked and not closed all the way. Luckily nothing was missing. I just loved the little town ely. I will definitely recommend visiting if you have never been."

"Hotel is old and shows wear. Rooms were comfortable. No staff is on site, you call a number for assistance. Refrigerator in room also has a freezer which was very convenient."

"We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was cozy, comfortable, and very clean — everything felt well cared for and inviting. The view was absolutely gorgeous and made the stay even more relaxing. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and communication throughout the entire process was phenomenal. They were responsive, helpful, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!"
