  • CREEKSIDE CABIN IS LOCATED ONLY 2.7 MILES FROM TRYON INTERNATIONAL EQUESTRIAN CENTER (TIEC). The cabin is within the private gated community of Green River Highlands ideally located between Charlotte and Asheville. The cabin is located on 18 acres and across the street from the community park on the banks of the Green River. The Cabin rental includes 4 club passes to The Cleghorn Club at Tryon Resort pool and sports deck. The Club is open Memorial Day Weekend – Labor Day Weekend. Lap swim is available during season 7 days a week from 9AM to 10AM, Open Swim 11AM to 8PM. The Pool and Sports Club will be open 7 days a week from 10AM to 8PM during season.
    The cabin itself is decorated in rustic elegant décor, beautiful Australian Cypress hardwood floors and stainless-steel appliances. The covered front covered porch offers rocking chairs to relax while the large 30-foot X 60-foot open deck offers a 6–8-person hot tub, two patio sets and a wicker seating area with a large shade umbrella. Warm up in front of a fire, relax in the log swing alongside the on-site creek, or read a good book in the hammock. Plenty of room for the children to run, play croquet or catch fireflies.
    The cabin offers 5 bedrooms which includes a bunk room with two bunk beds. The cabin can easily accommodate two separate families as the lower level offers one bedroom plus the bunk room, an efficiency kitchen and family room. The cabin has two (2) High-definition streaming televisions. The lower level has a laundry room and full bathroom. The main level has another family room with stone hearth wood stove, master bedroom and bath, and kitchen/dining area. The upper level has two bedrooms, bathroom and open loft area. The loft area also provides a small office area.

    Creekside is located off Highway 74/Exit 173 Union Road. Charlotte and Asheville airports 1 hour way; GSP in Spartanburg/SC airport 50 min. Approx. 1/4 mile from Green River Plantation; approx. 3 miles from West Pointe Farms and only a few miles from 3 local wineries. Famous Lake Lure where the original Dirty Dancing movie was filmed, and Chimney Rock Park are approx. 15 miles away. Hendersonville is approx. 1/2 hour.

Great House for Low Key Bachelorette Party

We went to several of the wineries in the Landrum/Tryon area and ended at Mountain Brook. This cabin was a short drive from it. The check in was easy, there was plenty of room to park, and everyone had plenty of space to relax. The hot tub was a lot of fun as well. Great place to spend a few nights with friends or family!

Our stay at the cabin was very enjoyable. The kids enjoyed golfing and swimming at the country club and attending an event at TIEC. The gated community was lovely and we saw lots of deer. The owner and property manager responded quickly to any questions we had.

Beautiful house and property - private and shady with wonderful deck to enjoy being outside. Very clean and spacious. Bedrooms and bathrooms on all 3 levels made for nice spreading out. VERY close to TIEC - 7 minute drive. Owner was wonderfully helpful - we ended up here after having to leave another VRBO that didn't have reliable cell or wifi. Cell and Wifi here worked great everywhere in the house and outside. Owner was incredibly gracious to allow us to check in early and very communicative - calling and checking in to be sure everything was perfect for us. We will stay here again next time we come to TIEC. Thank you!

Great golf weekend

The cabin was terrific. Great location to the golf course (Cleghorn Plantation). Huge shaded deck was perfect for our group. Inside accommodated our group well with fully stocked kitchen and nice up to date appliances. Only feedback was either have TP available, or make sure in the reservation it calls out there is none stocked and more hand towels/washcloths, especially when a full house of people are staying.

Michael was quick to respond to all of our needs. Great location - close to Tryon Equestrian Center. We didn't spend much time in the community - we always ventured out. House has comfortable beds, stocked kitchen (maybe need more wine glasses for the adults ha!). Overall we had a great time and it was just what we needed for our weeks stay. Thank you!

Great cabin close to Tryon International Equestrian Center! We were 3 families traveling to NC for a horse show and this was the ideal place to stay. After long days of horse showing it was great to come back to the quiet, wooded cabin and soak in the hot tub. Our host was very prompt in responding to questions we had. If I was going to improve anything I would add more hangars in the closets and maybe a few more extra blankets.

We were in town for the Equestrian Vaulting Nationals at Tryon Equestrian Center and rented this amazing property. It was absolutley beautiful, the house and the entire property. The house was so clean and spacious for our party of 13. The owner was excellent at communicating and was very accomidating. I would Highly reccomend this property it has a beautiful wrap around porch that was so relaxing as it rained one day while we were there and we just sat out and enjoyed it! Fantastic Property

We absolutely loved staying at this property! We rented this house with friends because our daughters were competing at Tryon Equestrian Center and this was the perfect house. It was big and clean and the owner, Michael, could not have been more lovely or accommodating. He even extended our checkout time when our girls riding schedule was pushed back because of rain. I would 1,000% recommend this house! We decided next time we come we’re actually going to stay an extra day so we can enjoy the house and the beautiful amenities that come with it. Thank you Michael for an amazing weekend!!!

We had a great time while in NC. Will have to say, the pictures made us think the cabin was bigger than what it actually was. It was clean and the deck was great. There are just a few things, there were only 4 coffee cups and not very many pieces of silver ware. We did have to go buy some styrofoam cups to use. We must have misunderstood that the pool is not within walking distance from the cabin and that was a disappointment. Overall, it is a nice place to stay.
