Didn't know what to expect as from the outside it looks just a corner pub!! Once through the bar area it was a very calm and quiet environment. The corridors and stairs were a bit narrow but nothing too bad. My room was on the top floor which entailed negotiating a low roof beam but no issues even after a few drinks!! The room was very clean and welcoming. The room's facilities were adequate. My room had a double bed which was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of room. I personally didn't have a problem with breakfast which arrived fairly quickly and piping hot.

I think it was overpriced for what it was. £85 per night inc bbreakfast would have been better value. Won't stsy there again although the location was very convenient.

Extremely noisy until past 1am!! Bed uncomfortable, very basic for the price we paid. Noisy pub downstairs had to walk through to rooms. Breakfast not served until 9am! So paid for breakfast but didn't have as too late for us. Would not recommend.

The rooms are above a lively bar in the middle of town. On 2 nights of our stay there was live music right below our room (a family room) until late. On the third night we were disturbed by passers by in the street outside making their way home in the early hours. It’s an old building and there is no double glazing so the sound carries. If you are planning to be out late in the local pubs, then this is probably a great place to stay. It’s clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and location couldn’t be better if you are arriving on the ferry or hovercraft. If you have kids and want to get them to sleep before midnight, then I would recommend you try elsewhere.

Nice hotel near beach, ferry and hovercraft

First impression is don't judge a book by its cover. Welcomed by a member of staff who made us feel very welcome. Inside the decor is homely and charming instead of the usual bland magnolia. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. We slept like a log and will be returning next year.

Quaint Trendy Ryde Hotel

Just a short walk from Ryde Esplanade the Kasbah is a quaint Bedouin type hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with Tea and Coffee making facilities available. The staff are really helpful and they do a great full English Breakfast in the morning.

Great hotel with fantastic value for money

Nice quickly little hotel - close to the seafront with plenty to do around it. Gorgeous breakfast and nice room. A little loud but nothing too overwhelming. Overall good stay

Room was clean, staff friendly, negatives 2 single beds pushed together is not a double bed uncomfortable sleep for who ever fell in the crack. Ear plugs on bed when arrived room situated above beer garden the noise from drunken youths was rediculas till 2am. We was given brakefast vouchers for rumbly tum we only used one the as it was cold and hairs in the beans even worse as the guy cooking was bald so god knows what hairs they was! The egg looked like it had been put in pan and took out uncooked, overall would not stay again
