"I loved the coffee, tea and hot apple cider in the reception area. The afternoon wine tasting was also lovely. Our issue was with the room. Apparently there was some sort of leak. Half of the carpeted floor in our room was soaking wet - I had to wear shoes all the time unless I wanted to walk around in soggy carpet. There was also a pretty strong stench of … you know what … in the room. Apparently the leak was coming from a broken pipe in the bathroom. When we told the person at the front, she said that yes, they are aware of the leak. And they are trying to fix it. In the meantime, we had to spend the night in a room with a soggy floor and a strong poop smell. They did not switch our rooms. They did not offer any sort of refund or reduction in price. "

"We had a magical time at Leslie’s Lake Home! Our Cal poly friend and family reunion could not have been at a more perfect location central to everything SLO. The best part was the incredible views from the deck of the lake and mountains complete with cattle and horses grazing, where we pretty much spent most of our time relaxing with coffee in the mornings, or watching the glow of the sunset off the lake. Agree with others it’s a birder paradise!"

"The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful. Anthony was mindful of any requests we might have and also reminded us of the evening popcorn, cookies, and beverage in the lobby. Rosalina was courteous and helpful during breakfast services, and we had great conversations with her. I'm really happy we got to stay at this location and explore SLO."
