"Older hotel but clean and that’s important. Staff was friendly - especially the girl that checked us in- but housekeeping was in the hallway at 5:45 AM making way too much noise. Very loud. Breakfast was basic, waffles, hardboiled eggs etc. On the edge of town so really chill neighborhood. Would stay again but would request a room away from housekeeping headquarters."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time. The house is very nicely configured. We enjoyed having the master suite at one end and the other two bedrooms at the other end. We appreciated having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The house was clean and well kept. The kitchen had all the items we needed. The “swamp cooler” air conditioning system worked well once we understood how it worked. The caretaker was very responsive and professional. The dishwasher went kaput while we were there but that is the nature of appliances and they worked to get the issue addressed."

"Beautiful property with outstanding Mountain View’s and star gazing. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Kitchen is well appointed and we cooked several meals, including grilling burgers one night. Beds were good. Even though the weather was very hot, we were comfortable, as long as we closed blinds during the day and opened windows at night."
Scenic cabin in Carson National Forest

"My wife and I and two teens stayed at this spacious and clean cabin. There are two bedroom areas in the upper loft mezzanine with an upper outside deck. There are bunk beds in the basement. the main bedroom is on the ground floor off the living room. All very nice.From the large living room windows, the pine trees provided privacy and views of the distant mountains in Carson National Park.We really like the location because it allowed us to travel to the Rio Grande Riverto fish and raft, to Angel Fire, to go along highway 518 (high road) for stream fishing and then to the town center of Taos.The owners have very good taste in furniture and in artwork. Some really great pieces. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen must have been newly remodeled, with great cabinet space and countertops. The appliances were all stainless steel and new as well. We did use the washer and dryer once. All good.Outside is a L-shaped deck had plenty of seating, a dining table and a propane gas grill. We cooked our first night there grilling steaks. Excellent. Highly recommend staying here.Thanks for sharing your property."
