Kieu Anh was the nicest person we met in Vietnam. She helped us book activities and made sure we felt very welcome and at home. She took great care of us. Upon arrival she even upgraded our room! When checking out, she booked us a car and sent us away with a big smile and hug. Best hotel ever! We miss it already

Had a fantastic stay. The hotel staffs are friendly and the owner Kieu Anh was incredibly awesome and knowledgeable. The room was comfortable and spacious with amazing views of the mountain. Walking distance to Sun Plasa Center train station and shopping centers. Highly recommended.

Great place

Excellent stay with a wonderful stuff and a warm family. Great room, great location (quiet and close to the center) and a tasty breakfast :) value for money in its best! We were there on our honeymoon and really enjoyed our self.

Homely stay in the mountains

Felt homely like we were part of the family, with a nice room included, good view of town which is a short walk to all the main cafes and activities to explore Sapa. Definitely worth a trek too and meet the amazing locals.

Excellent hotel, Kieu Anh is so kind The rooms are nice and it's in a great location for trekking, about 5 minutes walk to the town. It is in a house rather than a big tower , so be aware there is no lift (stairs up to 3rd floor) but Sapa Dragon is an excellent base to explore Sapa!

Sweet little independent hotel in the heart of Sapa. Owner is very friendly and goes out of her way to assist - she walked down the hill to meet us at our taxi and helped carry our bags up on arrival. Rooms are clean and beautifully decorated with hmong linens. Owner can help book guides for hikes and trekking to minority villages with local hmong female guides. Very reasonable prices for a quiet, clean hotel not overloaded with tour buses of tourists. Breakfast is included and cooked fresh for you each morning.

Kieu Ann the owner was extremely welcoming. She coordinated tickets to Fancipan and us to all our needs. Beautifully cooked breakfast with fresh fruit. Great family atmosphere. Troubleshooting our language barrier and our late shuttle…. As a Canadian traveller this was our best stay thus far in Vietnam!!!!! BTW… Close to everything and highly recommended. Also eat at Huong Rung at the foot of the street!!! It’s awesome…

The best service I ever had. The host Kieu Anh and her husband super friendly. They treated us like family. I went with my 2 little kids, was concerning safety and how to get around in Sapa. Stayed here made me worry free and she plan out all the activities for me. Felt very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Great family run hotel.

Got into sapa at 5am without a hotel. I booked this thru the hotels app and called the hotel to see if i can do an early check in. The owner was so gracious and she opened the front for us. Later in the morning she made my friend and i breakfast. Her little 5yr old daughter was also showing us to our table, so funny. You can tell that this is family owned and operated. 10/10 would highly recommend. Maded you feel like home

I had a bog room with a balcony. Breakfast gave me two nice options. The staff was nice and helpful and went out of their way whenever i had a question or needed help. Its a ten minute walk from the center of town and the train and cable car ride to Fansipan Mountain. And walkable to Cat cat village... if you're in decent shape. Had a great time and would recommend to any traveler. Its close enough to get most anywhere but away enough for peace and quiet in the evening.

Good value for money

This hotel is good value for money. It is very clean. However for us it was difficult to sleep because of noisy pipework, other guests talking at 5am and then drums and pipes playing outside from 6am!! Bad timing for us I think and the team did try and help with the expected outdoor noise by giving us a room at the back of the building but it made no difference. Exhausted we eventually slept but then missed breakfast so can’t comment on that. The room was very clean - it had a chemical cleaning smell when we arrived but it did seem to calm down.

Ms Kieu Anh is a welcoming host. On arrival, you immediately feel as though you are part of an extended family. The rooms are welcoming, neat, and tidy. The beds are super comfortable, and the pillows are amazing. As a result of being so comfortable, we missed breakfast each morning as we overslept 😴 😅. The food did smell amazing. The view from the balcony is not one to be missed. Ms. Kieu Anh has a wealth of local knowledge. She helped us arrange a bike to get around. Nothing is an issue for her, and she is more than willing to help. What I loved about this place is the feeling of being at home when you are not, a quick walk to the main area of of town and yet quiet enough of a night to enjoy a peaceful night sleep. The shower is damn good, too! I have no hesitation in recommending this comfortable accommodation and know that if I ever return to Sapa without a doubt, I will be coming back to Sapa Dragon Hotel 🌟🌟.
