"We had the cottage closest to the dam. It was absolutely perfect, with the most amazing sunrise view from our bed, which the owner told us about otherwise we would have slept through it. "Overall a very average stay and really not worth the cost. Our room was in desperate need of maintenance. There was terrible dampness and damage to the bathroom cupboards, all the cupboards in the room had not been cleaned which was v unpleasant and the aircon also had issues. Also we were told that breakfast was served at 8am however we were only managing to get breakfast at around 8.40 as staff had not arrived yet and the restaurant wasnt even open yet. We ended up missing our quad biking...

"Our stay at Sabi star chalets not what we expected.The toilets and bathrooms need upgrading.Towels not changed everyday. Otherwise clean and everything else we needed was there. Rooms are not soundproof.Conversations from adjoining chalet can be heard. There was a couple next door that argued and fought the entire night.Room 18.My family was in room 17 and hadnt slept entire night. Altho security did respond when called the noise carried on.Fortunately thay left next day. Need to commend...

"We arrived at the resort just after 5pm and was handed our keys with a map of where our unit was and a map of the various sites in the area. We noticed the shop was well stocked. When we got to our cabana, the unit was very clean, with a chocolate for each of us, some rusks and tea/coffee packs. The resort is very tranquil. It is close to every site in the lowveld. "

"The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning."

"This place is just average. Not a lot to talk about. Hotel condition is just so-so. It says 24 hour service. And it says staff will be on-site from 5AM. But when I tried to leave property at about 5:40AM, the gate was locked. I have to wait for some time and someone came to unlock the gate. It is a budget hotel. "

"Bedroom, toilet/bathroom with shower and kitchen. Double bed and bunker bed in bedroom/main room, also cable TV which I haven't used. In kitchen I found bar fridge, small microwave and 4 glasses, cups, plates, bowls, cutlery. I paid two nights R720 January 2019, that is two persons price - very affordable. Sheri and stuff are friendly and pleasant. Rooms are clean, towels provided. About area, mountains, rain forests, waterfalls ... Graskop is small place everything is walking distance."
