Staff is very friendly. Front desk guy help me with smooth checkin. Room was very big and clean compare to price I paid. Due to downtown there are homeless people, but good thing they do not visit property. Overall, this will be my place to stay in Sacramento.

Although the staff was nice, the place stinks of cigarettes, is dirty, neglected, and has bedbugs. Everything was horrible.

This hotel is really nice and is a safe location and is Central to a lot of things in the Sacramento area. And it's next to the police station which has added security and comfort.

Surprising place, affordable!

I had to unexpectedly find a place while in Sacramento. So happy that I found a reasonable place that was affordable and clean… it was a pleasant stay and such a breeze to check in! The place was pretty huge.

Not much available nearby for food options. Also, there's a large amount of homeless about a block away. Watch out for them wandering across the streets nearby if you are driving around.

The room was decent. Regarding space, the room had two queen beds and a bed within the couch which is suitable for a family of 5. You could tell that it used to be a very nice hotel. There was some damage probably from previous guests. The room had a permanent cigarette smell. The owner was nice at check-in. However, no breakfast or any other services are offered. The owners have cameras and security on site.

Place to crash

Place to crash for the night right off the freeway, next to a McDonalds and Dennys. BAD scene with homeless junkies and hookers at the bottom, really ugly, in that neighborhood. Car was safe for the night and I had no problem walking a block to the Dennys during daylight hours.

There Are Better Options

Old and very outdated. There were lots of dents in the front door. We did not feel safe at this location. Surrounded by homeless encampments and you heard traffic from the freeway all night. At least we had hot water, room was clean and the heater worked.

Front desk staff was very friendly and kind. We went to the room, it was in poor shape. Hair in the bathtub, tv didn’t work, holes in the wall, dirty, sticky, holes in comforter from cigarette burn. Worst of all which is why we left, after pulling down bedding, there was hair in the sheets and bugs that you could see from standing up.

Continent location near old Sacramento town. Great dining near by. Attendant was very helpful, and vigilant. While I was checking in there was a disturbance on the property he took care of quickly. Didn’t find the room up to my standards of clean; but I’ve experienced worse! We had a room with a pull out couch- but there were no linens and it was very dirty! Overall, for the price; it was what I expected. Mostly quiet area with great amenities near by.

Positive: Comfortable bed. Negatives: No lid on toilet tank. Unable to get Internet connected. Broken leg on luggage bench. No cups for coffee machine, and no coffee pods. Fridge was missing, just an empty hole under the counter. No amenities. No breakfast facilities.

Ok Deal***

My concerns: 1) no fair warning of $40 cash deposit before arriving, luckily I had the money on hand, and received it back as I was checking out. 2) bathroom does not close well, so if I had to lock myself in the bathroom for safety-security concerns, it wouldn't work out at all. 3) First time I had a hotel room with no closet space, luckily there were drawers, and I had my luggages, overall glad I only stayed a few days versus a week. 4) Room had cigarette smell, I'm a non smoker by the way. 5) Wifi seemed to only be available for one device. 6) Thick layer of the curtain doesn't close fully. & 7) part of the mirror with the sink was broken. Good Points: -Air Conditioning was great! -Conveniently located by gas stations, restaurants, and the freeway. -Microwave in the room is always great! Overall, it was ok and valued at a decent price.

We stayed here because of the convenience and distance to the music festival that was close by. I called to ask if I was able to check in after 11pm because most places you can’t, I was told you can check in whenever (which is a plus) but then promptly got hung up on. When we got to the property the amount of homeless people just hanging out around the property made me uneasy. Then when I got to the motel the lobby was locked and there weren’t any signs to say to use the side window. Not too big of a deal. But the attendant didn’t say anything besides asking for my ID and form of payment. Not very personal-able. Then we got to the room and the room looked decent and clean. The bathroom looked to have been left out of the remodel and seemed a bit dirty. It also seemed like the bathroom vent was attached to another rooms vent because someone was smoking weed in an adjacent room and it seeped into our bathroom and into our room. The door to the bathroom had to be lifted up to close all the way. And the door to the room seemed like it had been kicked in at some point because it didn’t sit tight and thus caused a vibration noise when the A/C was on. We most likely will not be returning to this hotel.
