"Wonderful place to stay! Our room was very large with a table/chairs, sitting area, wood burning stove, and king bed (which was very comfy). It also had a private balcony off the room! Front desk staff was great, the restaurant had delicious food and drink (it was nice eating on the back deck overlooking the mountains), and there was a nice walking trial down to the river. If guests didn't feel like walking back up the big hill they could call the front desk and have the hotel van come and get them. This was also the only hotel we stayed at in Alaska that had recycling bins around the main building and in the rooms. We also enjoyed the jigsaw puzzle in the lobby and spent a few hours working on it."

"We stayed here in July. We had a family of six and it was ample room for everybody. The view is amazing. Our kids enjoyed the setting immensely and couldn’t stop talking about it. Everyone enjoyed the setting, and visit. "
