"The host is just so helpful and cheerful, the room is super clean and the attention of detail from the host makes the stay so much enjoyable. Unfortunely for me, my room was the one on the main road and I am a light sleeper, so sleep was not the best experience so agreed with host to reserve a room at the back of the Mas for my next stay. "We chose the Hotel de Bordeaux for our visit to Bergerac for its location and amenities. It did not disappoint; excellent and helpful staff, brilliant location with an easy walk to the old city, a private secure car park, quiet comfortable room, and a good breakfast. "This is a hidden gem! Patrick welcomes you warmly and makes you feel right at home. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The quiet and beauty of the gardens adds to the pleasure. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner incredible. Patrick was very helpful in assisting with making reservations for wine tastings in the area. I highly recommend staying here. "

"Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans un cadre magnifique. Détente et bien-être total entre la piscine (trèèèès grande), le parc arboré, le baby-foot, le billard et le beau jeu d'échecs. "This is a very central hotel, and at first glance is very much in the traditional mould. However everything is modern, comfortable and works. There's even a pool and the breakfast was very good. The parking is limited but there's (paid) public parking right outside. Overall very good value for money."

"This is a lovely little hotel in a quiet area of Bergerac but very close to the railway station. My room was very comfortable and clean with a good bathroom that was also very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good. I would definitely stay there again."

"Booked a room for seven nights, but checked out after the first night. It was incredibly hot that week, around 105 degrees. The room had no air conditioning, or fans. The windows could not be open during the evening because there were no screens in the windows and with the mosquitoes and bats flying around that was not an option. It was cooler outside than in the room. When I decided to check out the following day the staff were apologetic, but there was nothing they could do. The resort, as of now has not offered a refund for the remaining six nights."
