One of our apartments was very dark and gloomy, but the second one was airy and nice. There was a large bedroom right off of a nice sized porch where we ate our meals. The kitchen area also had a table, sink, small counter and refrigerator/microwave. There were no cooking facilities other than the microwave. For Shabbat we had a plata and hot water urn. There was a loft above the kitchen area with 4 beds that was a lot of fun to sleep in, but somewhat hot in the summer. The air conditioning in both rooms worked very well, but didn't reach the loft as much. Also, the bathroom is in the bedroom, so we had to disturb the people sleeping there to use it.
The apartment was a great place to stay, and we enjoyed it a lot. It was right off of a main street with shops of all types and restaurants/take out. We were a 5 minute walk from the old city, and 15 minute walk to the old cemetery.
The manager was very helpful and available any time I called her. Orbitz messed up the details of our reservations, and she worked it out so that we all had someplace to sleep.
There are many apartments at Beit Yosef, so ask when you call to reserve if you have particular preferences and the manager will work with you.
La camera era meravigliosa e si aveva la possibilità di cucinare. La zona è tranquillissima e nessuno viene a disturbare. Vale la pena di fermarsi qui.
We were pleased with our room even though the stone steps leading up to the unit were crumbling. We stayed in an old stone building conveniently located right next to the main street of this charming ancient town. Other units are spread around the town. We woke in the morning to the chirping of parrots and the chanting of prayers. Our relatives had a comfortable room but there were no windows.. We had two rooms and a large balcony overlooking the main street.
We stayed in a "studio." It was located in a remodeled old islamic style house with stone walls and arched supports and ceilings. It was full of "charm" and ugly antiques but not so comfortable for lodging. The worst part was that the room had no windows and the air in the room irritated our eyes. The "bathroom" was a partitioned portion of the room with an open shower, although it was fully functional. My sister stayed in a one bedroom suite at the same location and it was exceptional - lots of fresh air, many windows, a terrace, and extra space and bedrooms. We were all forced to change our travel plans because check-in was limited to 7:00 pm at the latest and had to be arranged in advance. The location of the room was excellent, immediately adjacent to the artist district.
We arrived at the hotel shortly after 2:00 pm, the place was locked. There were no signs or directions to find the hotel which presented a lot of problems.
A divery man came, he kindly called the office, ur us now 2:25 pm we were harshly told to come back at 3. I asked if I could use a rest room, NO.
We came back at 3:10, still no one. The cleaning girl came and she tried calling, no one answered. She directed us to where the office was, the oeople in the office were beyond rude but as the cleaning lady was there they would let us,stay. It is now 4:00 pm.
They said call the office on the phone in the room if there were any problems, Surprise no phone, no wifi code no help.
This was a 100% prepaid reservation otherwise we would have left. This company manages several properties, they are to be avoided. Rude, nasty, uncooperative and should not be in this type of business.
Beautiful house full of character with all facilities available. Just need to make allowance for joined toilet/shower room that gets very wet if you are not careful.

Maintenence is not the best. Noisy street.
We couldn't find the place at first.
The owner didn't provide a map.
And had trouble explaining the way to get to the apartment.
After 30 minutes of walking around, up and down while on the phone with the owner we found it.
The apartment has two bedrooms.
We stayed there with another couple.
Our room's door was squeaky so it made a loud noise when we wanted to go to the bathroom at night.
So we ended up sleeping with the door open.
The kitchen was issuing lots of utensils and we had to improvise just to make an omelet and a salad breakfast.
Electric stove wasn't heating itself enough to cook the eggs.
No spatula.
No bowl for a salad.
The apartment is right on the street level and many people walk there at night and make noise. We were woken up in the middle of the night by some kids that ran down the stairs screaming.
All in all, we paid a high price for what it was worth.
We were 4 people in 3 rooms and each room was wonderful with really interesting furniture, velvet and ribbons and writing on the walls of this ancient building. We had everything we needed and speaking personally my bed was heavenly comfortable! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend .
The suite was roomy and had a comfortable atmosphere, it was also quiet and private. My only issue with the facility was with the bathroom, the shower in particular. The shower and toilet shared a small space, the toilet being separated by a shower curtain. The shower did not drain quickly enough, and the floor squeegee that was furnished for pushing water into the drain was no adequate (old/ineffective). Perhaps other rooms don't have this issue. Aside from that, parking was a bit of a problem because it was limited in the location of our particular zimmer.
Location is excellent. Sharon was very helpful in helping us plan our visit, logistics, food for Shabbat, etc. The room is a bit more spartan than I had thought from the pictures I saw online. Otherwise, everything worked very well. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Old City of Sfat.
Donc::: Sanitaires inacceptables.
Pour un prix de la chambre élevé( et visiblement, nous n étions pas en haute saison!)
The guestroom was located in the old city, close to the synagogues and art galleries. So the location is great. The room itself (unit on Jerusalem street 86) was big and had been decorated in a certain style, some would enjoy it, but for others it could be a bit old style. It was clean and was nicely kept, including a fridge and various utensils. It had no windows as it's basically in a cave, and there wasn't a solid separation between the bathroom and the bedroom, which made using the toilet an interesting experience. Flushing had to be done with a prayer as well. Wifi didn't work at all in the evening and at night and barely during the day. I presume it was due to the fact that it was in the cave. Beware that there is a late check-in fee if you check in after 7 pm.
