Beautiful hotel in historic setting
We had a lovely stay here with our family. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is excellent, close to the artists' colony and the old town. The views on the surrounding mountains are beautiful. The swimming pool is amazing! Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable and big enough. Wide choice for breakfast.
Probably the best place to stay within the old city of Safed. The property is in a good condition. The room was comfortable, a tad dated. The staff ensured the toiletries were always stocked. The breakfast and Shabbat meals were of a good standard. I would stay here again.
The staff was warm and friendly and went beyond even printing a few pages for me at no charge. The location is great. Consider having a sabath meal at 5 minute walk away chabad lipshutz family for added good experience. I will be back!
Wonderful breakfast. The bar, however, is very poorly served, a great wine cellar that is not on the menu and a bartender who barely speaks English and pays little attention.
This hotel was absolutely gorgeous! It had beautiful history in the walls. I loved walking about the property and reading about the history. It was clean. My daughter loved the lemonade they had out when guests arrive or just in the lobby. She said it was her favorite drink ever and was sad the next day when it was orange juice she wanted to buy it in the cafe but they didn’t sell it.

This is an older property with different levels and lots of stairs to negotiate with luggage. It took some effort to get everyone and our luggage from the car park to the room (hauling bags ups numerous flights of stairs).
