"A tad shabby in places but clean. Service was somewhat slow but eventually our requests were met. Walls very thin."

"The hotel itself is lovely, rooms clean. I have stayed 3x now. The main issue I have is that each time I stay I am kept awake by rowdy inconsiderate guests who think it’s acceptable to run up and down room corridors, slam doors, scream & bang around all hours. It was still happening at 1am on the most recent stay. The walls are very thin! I had asked for a room in the quietest part of the hotel (where possible) due to having to be up and leaving by 5.30am."

"The staff were fantastic. it’s a very old building with lots of charm. Unfortunately the room we had was in need of some renovation, very tired, ripped carpet, and the window was filthy. Our room was exceptionally warm although there was a fan provided. Lick of paint, new carpet and a better clean would be 5 stars!"

"Room was very large but needs updating patio doors stuck went half term with granddaughter but disappointed no entertainment on in evening even Friday night seems to be full of people all getting drunk and letting there kids run wild won't go half term again not good value for what I paid for b and b breakfast hardly anything replenished .been several times before and aways enjoyed but very let down this time"
