I loved that the cleaning staff posed the stuffed animals after making the bed! Would definitely stay again, the staff were very friendly and helpful!

Overall, the property was nice and the rooms were clean and spacious. I will say the glass door to the bathroom was a little different as you could see in to those that were in there to shower/get ready. The location is a bit from the train station so be prepared for arranging for travel the hotel. The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was nice and offered a good variety of items.

Thanks for a well needed brake
Thanks for a well needed break from the road. A good night sleep in a cosy room. Missing hot water in the shower. Maybe to early or economical minded? Overall - we’ll come again.

This is a large hotel on the edge of town, which is about a 25 minute walk, and only a couple of miles from the motorway. Much better than similar chains. Excellent staff. Good room with a great shower. No restaurant for dinner but a very good breakfast with lots of choice. Plentiful open parkin

Not a 4 star.
Debatable to classify it as a 4 star. No bidet, no shaving mirror, no iron facilities in the room. Tv channels like Rai1 and 2 BBC NEWS only available on paper but not on the tv. Breakfast not an adequate selection for the price scrambled eggs totally inedible , better value and selection in the sister hotel in Colmar together with the more positive staff approach. Ventilation in the toilet not existent. A clearer and more direct warning and instructions about the use of the shower gel capsules, as they can be quite harmful if used inappropriately . Our little fridge with two nice half bottle water were ‘boiling’ as ithe fringe was working. Mattresses and pillows very comfortable although bed covers and sheets have seeing better days as they looked and felt grey and limp. 4stars? No, I am sorry definitely not!!

Nice stopovet
It was a very nice stopover. Friendly personnel on reception,beatiful room with comfy bed and nice shower. We were very lucky to be there during there celebration of the 4th star (I suppose that was the reason). It was a reception with snacks and drinks of outstanding quality. The staff and other personnel were great. Thanks and again felicitations! Less was the breakfast. Although an excellent variation of the items was breakfast a little disappointing. When we went at 9 am certain and for us important items were finished and not replaced (like scrambled eggs and most of the cheeses..) It is not that we did not eat rather well ( excellent coffee and juice..) but with 4 stars in mind some things have here to improve.The 3 membres of the personnel were chatting among themselves with what seemed to us as no interest at all for the guests. Need some attention .?We certainly visit this hotel again on another journey.

My wife and I travelled to St. Avold to go to the American WWII cemetery to see where my Grandfather was buried. We loved your hotel and the staff there was completely super nice and professional. We love the bar, Bar b' art one Kilometer from there, also. where the owner Annie and her friends/

Nice hotel on our ‘Tour de Europe’
Lovely stay at the Roi Soleil... we were very well suprised and will definitely bool another stay on our way back to UK. Excelent spacious room, great modern bathroom, amazing shower... hetel staff was more than pleasant and warm. Brekfast was yummy!

First stay at this hotel and we were very pleasantly surprised. Large room, great shower and everything clean. Nespresso coffee machine, great! Breakfast very good. Oiled definitely stay again.

Disappointed
The Hotel was fine but the smell of sewage from the bathroom was strong so we had to keep the door shut.Also the walls were too thin as we could hear every bathroom /TV/voice sounds from the adjoining rooms.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. The hotel is very close to the Lorraine American Cemetery and easily accessible for driving and parking.

Clean Room And comfortable bed ,uplifiting cheerful and modern decor throughout Reception staff very Pleasant every time , excellent Wifi Nice bathrobe (I bought two in the last my couple trips in St Avold and Colmar) The breakfast experience though lets down the whole hotel ,a very sad and dull experience, Appalling scrambled eggs ,terrible quality, consistingly bad every time I stay in this hotel. The staff in this department could and should do better.

Stop on way to Germany
Good motel for an overnight stay just off auto route. Very helpful staff , suggested somewhere for dinner. Room was good with very comfortable bed. Breakfast was usual buffet with plenty of choice.

Modern and new (building completed 2010) I think. Excellent staff, room and comfortable bed with double glazed windows to keep out noise. Would definitely stay again.

Very great location. Service was great. Room was clean and comfortable, very quiet, also was able to walk to certain areas
