"My husband and I stayed at the chateau for one evening with our small children. We explored the property after we arrived and put them down for bed before enjoying dinner by ourselves... one of the best meals we have ever had in our lives! Florence and her husband treat you like family. It was a true treat to have stayed there!"

"We were very impressed with this hotel which we stayed at for one night on our way to Belgium from the Cote D'Azure. The house was lovely and we were met very graciously by the owner, who was very pleasant and welcoming. She informed us we could get an upgrade and we ended up having a lovely spacious suite. "The location is very beautiful. They have their own parking space. The staff is very friendly. We stayed only 1 night in a room for 4 persons, which was very neat and clean. "The house has great bones and is in a wonderful location in the adorable village of St Felicien. The host was communicative and polite. The main problem is that the interior furnishings haven't been updated - the beds and mattresses are all very old. The kitchen had dishes and utensils, but we had to rewash everything. Many of the surfaces were dusty. It smelled like it had been shuttered for a while. We ended up getting a room at the local hotel after a single night. I hate to post a negative review, and the house has a lot of potential, but we felt it truly wasn't worth paying for in this condition. "
