For those who like cycling, the surrounding countryside is excellent with gently rolling hills and attractive landscapes. There are endless incredibly quiet lanes, plus the voie verte which whisks you fairly effortlessly...

"If you want to wake up to birds singing and enjoy the country then this is the place for you. It is only about 15 minutes out of Alencon and the lace museum has the most wonderful exhibits. I wish we could have stayed longer, it is a beautiful area and Alencon is a delightful historical town."
