Family time

We rented the cottage to spend time with extended family. There where 14 of us & we never felt crowded.

Perfect work retreat

We rented this cabin for a 2 days work retreat. It was a perfect place to hold our special event. Unfortunately, there was many walls still on gypse and plaster due to water damage. There were no curtains in the living room and one window had tapes around. But overall, it is a very charming, clean and well maintained cabin. We loved the hot tub and the patio/veranda to hold our team building activities and meetings ;) the beds were confortable. The kitchen lacks some lights but is very large and the 2 fridge were very useful.

Not as advertised

It was a lovely facility but was not what was promised. The following appliances were not working:1.hot tub (couldn't be fixed until the following weekend)2.oven3.dishwasher (fixed while we were there)4.coffee makerNot having an operational oven made the visit difficult because we had several things prepared including an apple pie for 12 people, several loaves of homemade bread, and a turkey we had planned on roasting. Being forced to revamp our menu due to a non-functioning oven created a great deal of stress and marred the experience.You should be aware that among our group were a number of engineers and scientists who attempted to fix the oven – and carefully following the instructions of the owners to unplug the oven – let it sit for at least 5 minutes – and then attempt to restart it. We tried this repeatedly. It would come on for several minutes up to 20 minutes and then shut off giving a “SE” indicator. The owner was patronizing and dismissive of the problem.We could manage without the hot tub, coffee maker (although this was a huge disappointment), and dishwasher issues. But not having an oven was a serious deficit. Additionally, other than the busy roads, there is no place to go for a walk. All the paths near the lodge are privately owned and we were asked to leave.

Bien mais décevant

La structure est immense mais mal organisée. Avec 4 chambres en mezzanine on ne dispose que d’une seule toilette dans le corridor et sans lavabo. Le rez de chaussée est mieux équipé avec une grande salle de bain/salle de lavage. L’éclairage des aires communes et des chambres est violent sans possibilité d’ajustement. La climatisation est inefficace avec un seul appareil pour toute la grandeur de la maison sur deux étages. La propriété est située au bout d’un chemin de terre et dans un boisé malheureusement les bruits de la construction voisine et la circulation de l’autoroute 10 en gâchait l’agrément. La cuisine est bien fournie en matériel pour cuisiner et nous avons apprécié le spa. L’extérieur de la maison mériterait un peu de soins, par exemple les galeries et escaliers.Prendre en compte que la maison est isolee et que l’on doit se rendre à Magog pour les restaurants et divertissements.

Parfait pour recevoir la famille

Très grand chalet permettant de recevoir les enfants et les petits-enfants pour célébrer Noël en avance. Beaucoup de chambres et de grands espaces communs pour accommoder tout le monde. Les deux frigos étaient très utiles. L'emplacement est excellent. Plusieurs commodités intéressantes, dont un spa extérieur, un foyer extérieur et des balançoires. Seul bémol : il manquait de lumière dans la cuisine (au-dessus du lavabo notamment) et dans le salon comprenant le foyer. La propreté du chalet pourrait être meilleure.

Séjour entre amis

Plusieurs chaises Adirondack était brisées. Certaines plus que d’autres. Nous n’avons pas trouvé de sacs pour led poubelle et nous avons dû rapidement aller se chercher du papier de toilette. Nous aurions voulu faire du composte, mais il n’y avait aucun contenant à cet effet. Nous avons adoré tout de même la place. Confortable et spacieux. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et répondent vite

Endroit chaleureux !!!

Réunion familiale de cousines/cousins. Endroit est très propre, chaleureux pour ce genre de réunions. Seul bémol, la description fait référence à 3 sdbains, ce qui est inexact. 2 sdbains + 1 toilettte (pas de lavabo). Merci.
