An outstanding place for a family celebration.

La Muraillere provided us with the near perfect place for us to hold a family gathering to help celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The weather was perfect so we spent the majority of our time outside in the lovely gardens and grounds. It’s location is such that you can easily reach the coast. La Muraillere is full of character and was perfect for our holiday, however the sheer size of the project means there are some areas which are still to be worked on. This was of no consequence to us and will of course reduce as time goes on. The pool is excellent and was fully used by all the family. A particular success was the celebratory meal cooked at the château by the chef (Anthony) organised by Virginie. All in all we had a memorable time and if the opportunity arose we would not hesitate to return. Virginie and Antoine are helpful and caring hosts.

We had the most incredible family holiday at this villa. There were 16 of us (ages ranging from 16–50s) and it was absolutely perfect for our group. The villa is beautifully decorated with a mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. The kitchen is so well equipped, the dining table seats 16 easily, and the living spaces offered both quiet corners and room for us all to be together.The outdoor spaces were even more spectacular—BBQ patio, swimming pool, ping pong in the barn, and a huge grassy area for games. The gardens are breathtaking, with flowers, ponds, ducks, boats, and more—it felt like our own little paradise. We couldn't believe it was all ours!Virginie was a wonderful host, quick to answer any questions and full of great recommendations. The villa is in a peaceful rural location, so we hired cars and enjoyed exploring—highlights included Puy du Fou, a local vineyard, and the beaches.I can’t recommend this villa highly enough for large families or groups of friends. It’s rare to find somewhere that offers so much beauty, space, and comfort all in one place. Truly unforgettable!

Nous étions une grande famille, et pourtant nous n’avons occupé que la moitié de la maison tant elle est spacieuse. La propriété est située dans un quartier calme, entourée d’un parc magnifique, idéal pour de longues promenades — avec des pauses obligatoires dans le potager pour cueillir des framboises avec les enfants.Nous avons pleinement profité de la piscine, équipée d’un portillon de sécurité (indispensable, et tant mieux !) pour la tranquillité des parents, ainsi que de la suite du poolhouse, parfaite pour un peu d’intimité. Le terrain de tennis a aussi été un vrai plus.Mais ce que nous avons le plus apprécié, c’est la gentillesse des propriétaires et de l’adorable hôtesse, qui nous avait laissé de délicieuses confitures maison, du sirop et du miel.L’arrivée et le départ se sont déroulés sans aucun stress, dans une ambiance agréable. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir dès que l’occasion se présentera.

Au calme, avec le charme de l histoire

baignade dans la piscine, le soleil présent 6 jours sur 7 nous a permis d apprecier l environnement et le magnifique parc. Nous avons pu manger les tomates, courgettes, framboises du potager à volonté. Un espace piscine agréable et un coin repas extérieur proche de la cuisine appréciable. Bel espace de vie dans la maison pour les 14 personnes présentes, et des hôtes Antoine et Virginie accueillants et qui nous ont donné pleins d informations utiles pour notre séjour. Incredible location and hosts

Virginie and Antoine have been amazingly nice hosts. They welcomed us on the first day, were helpful all along our 2-week stay until the end. The checkout process was also very smooth. The location is as amazing as it seems, we can only strongly recommend it strongly, and look forward to another stay there. Virginie et Antoine ont été d'incroyable hôtes. Ils nous ont très bien reçus le 1er jour, et ont toujours d'une grande aide tout le long du séjour. La localisation est magnifique, nous ne pouvons que la recommander chaleureusement. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner !

Très belle propriété pour un séjour entre amis

Excellent séjour dans une tres belle demeure. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires qui nous ont accordé toute leur confiance . Le mobilier , la literie, la vaisselle sont tout à fait adaptés pour partager des moments de détente dans un environnement très bucolique. Demeure à recommander pour une réunion familiale ou un séjour entre amis.

Excellent séjour

Nous venons de passer une semaine en famille à La Muraillère. Nous étions 18, 9 adultes et 9 enfants (de 5 à 16 ans). La maison très vaste, jolie et bien aménagée, et l'extérieur immense nous ont permis de vivre très agréablement, sans jamais avoir l'impression d'être nombreux. Piscine, tennis, ping-pong, ballades dans le parc et ses alentours (à pied ou à vélo), les occupations n'ont pas manqué. Un piano, dans le salon, permet aussi des activités musicales. Les propriétaires sont particulièrement chaleureux et accueillants. Bref, une semaine de rêve pour petits et grands.

Des vacances exceptionnelles!

La villa est magnifique et parfaite pour un groupe d'adultes et d'enfants. Les chambres sont toutes tres belles et les nombreuses salles de bain tres fonctionnelles. Nous avons apprecie l'espace qui permet a la fois de s'isoler et de se retrouver tous ensemble autour de la table pour un grand repas de famille. Les nombreuses activites sur place telles que la piscine, la table de ping pong, le tennis, la table de billard et le jardin immense, nous ont permis de passer des vacances tres completes et au gout de tout le monde. Enfin, la gentillesse et l'hospitalite de Virginie et Antoine nous ont fait nous sentir comme chez nous. Un grand merci pour tou! Et a tres bientot!

La vie de château

Enfin une grande maison vraiment adaptée aux grandes réunions... Nous étions 16, 4 couples plus 8 adolescents et les dimensions et la qualité de la maison et de ses extérieurs ont rendu le séjour de chacun trés agréable... Nos grands enfants pouvaient se dépenser sans qu'on ne les entende tant la maison est grande, la cuisine est tout à fait adaptée aux préparations de grands repas et nous avions la place de manger tous ensemble dans l'immense salle à manger quand le temps ne permettait pas de manger dehors... Les propriétaires sont trés accueillants, les lits faits à l'arrivée sont une attention que nous avons beaucoup appréciée. Le plus dur était de décider les ados à quitter les lieux pour aller découvrir la région!

Bon séjour en famille....

Magnifique propriété, tout à fait conforme aux photos présentées sur le site. Nous étions une même famille de 9 adultes et 5 enfants de (1 an à 7 ans) et tout le monde a passé un bon séjour et garde en mémoire de bons moments de convivialité. Malgré les quelques jours de mauvais temps, la demeure est assez grande pour permettre à tout le monde de trouver une occupation...billard, table de ping-pong, jeux pour enfants...la piscine et le parcs sont très agréables également. Si vous souhaitez un endroit où vous rassemblez en famille, à coup sûr cette demeure vous ravira...

Idéal pour passer de belles vacances en famille

Quelle belle propriété ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette vaste villa , un air de château... Le jardin , ou plutôt le parc, est propice aux longues ballades dans un cadre fleuri. La piscine est superbe, face au jardin. Sans oublier le cour de tennis à disposition. La maison est très bien située , au calme , la mer à 20 minutes. Nous recommandons sincèrement ce lieu agréable et avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. A refaire sans hésiter.
