"A beautiful property with a lovely cottage!We stayed in Cottage #1 as we brought our two small dogs and wanted the garden space up front.We towed our fishing boat up there and used the lake access everyday!The people maintaining the property were friendly and helpful. The few other renters in the other cottages were also friendly. It made for a lovely relaxing stay. The cottage itself had decent wifi and it was very easy to set up with groceries and feel settled quickly. It had all the basics stocked and was clean and aired out.Anyone looking for a cottage stay should come here :)Kelsi also accommodated us very quickly asking to stay for an extra night because we weren't ready to go home!"

"We had a wonderful three nights here. It's a classic rustic Ontario cottage filled with history. From the log wood interior to the antiques that adorn every area of the cottage it's as if you're living in an antique store. Every day we found new trinkets to look at.The property is very private and lots of space to roam about. We saw loons, a beaver, herons, ravens, a wolf down the road, and on our last day had a bald eagle show up to hunt a fish which was really cool to see.There was plenty of power with the solar. The host was great to communicate with. The little town of Cobalt is 5 minutes away and there's also a lot to see just walking down the road from the property.The bed was very comfortable. Lots of different seating areas inside and out around the property.If you want luxury this is not that, but that doesn't mean it's not worth a visit. This is a true Ontario cottage experience and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice getaway."

"My wife and I have stayed at Pointe Carniel Lodge for 3 years in a row and keep coming back because the hosts are wonderful, conscientious and so respectful of our privacy. They just make the stay so pleasant. The view/spot is fantastic, it’s perfect for lounging on the beach, swimming and fishing and has the right atmosphere of peace and quiet to enjoy a relaxed vacation with my wife. Everything is well maintained and clean and we’ve cooked ourselves some great meals with the simple and scaled down but well appointed little kitchen/bbq in Raspberry Close. Highly recommended."
