"Lovely property, the house was nice and clean, great location. We didn't use the pool as it was not the best weather, but if we had any criticism it would be that the pool floor and walls could do with a good clean, they were a bit dirty."

"We love coming to the area and this house is just wonderful - cool inside when the weather was extra hot. We timed the stay for the July 14th celebrations and vide-grenier which was extra fun to see so many people out and about! Dominique met us at the house, let us in, and gave us her phone number in case we needed anything while we were there. Would definitely recommend - the area also now has a 4G phone signal so I had to disconnect my phone from data to stay away from work emails :D...

"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte en bordure du canal du nivernais. Le cadre est parfait, au milieu des bois, dans un jardin parfaitement entretenu. Le gîte en lui-même est très bien, petit mais en parfait état, propre et bien équipé. Il y a une grande terrasse avec salon de jardin, transat. "We stayed for 5 nights to recuperate on our European tour. Amazing traditional property with lots of space for 5 children, and outside space for dining with use of the BBQ. We loved the outside space and pool to cool off - so much space. Relaxing, calm and tranquil. Fabien was on site if we needed anything. It felt very much like home for us with the animals and greeted by the dog when we came home each day."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Ibis Nevers. So close to the centre of the town, walkable and convenient. Parking was private and off road. Although the room was small and not soacious it was still comfortable and aircon was part of the room. Breakfast was lovely. All in all a lovely stay."

"We loved the property. Although it’s old in a goed way, it was also very clean. We loved the outdoor areas too. You do have to drive a bit to buy your bread but it’s worth it. Details we loved: there was a bottle of good white wine offered to us, if we had a question, like “where can we buy some good wine”, we got their personal list of vineyards and when we ware all admiring the water wheel, the owner took the effort of removing the top cover so we could enjoy the wheel turning. Lovely people! Also, there was firewood waiting in the fireplace, ready to go and there was charcoal available for the bbq. We hope to visit again."

"The apartment was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The view was beautiful and bed was comfy.. We had a problem getting into the property as we did not receive the codes. After 2 phone calls, the caretaker gave us the codes to get in. It seems like there was a problem with Expedia. "
