"The advertising is very misleading. The air conditioning is only in one room on the top floor; the rest of the cabin has no air circulation. The washer and dryer are locked in a closet. Unable to dry towels after the hot tub. If you want to take a shower or bath on the top floor, you will need a wrench to switch the spout on the tub to the spray setting. You're obliged to wash yourself while you're exposed to anyone outside because the curtain is broken. Every floor had ants everywhere. When I mentioned it to the owner, she directed me to the local hardware store. The ants were running up and down walls and on tables, and mouse droppings were in the bottom drawer of the oven. There were no cleaning products, so we were not able to clean up properly after meals. The high window ledges were infested with dead bugs. No regular coffee machine, only an espresso machine. Once you've had enough of the inside and try to exit onto the porch from the 2nd floor living room, the door does not open from the inside or outside. Once outside, don't lean on the railing. It was unstable with a "danger" ribbon hanging across the railing. The BBQ had food left in it from the previous renters and an empty propane tank. The garbage recycling bin outside was already full when we got there, which made for frequent visits from wildlife. Every time we contacted the owner, the response was "thanks for letting me know". We didn't sleep on the 2nd night. The cabin has potential, just too much neglect."

The interior design of this Quebec French country home is beautiful yet functional, located about an hour from Montreal in a quiet farming community. If you want to rest and relax, it's perfect, but still within driving distance of Montreal's attractions. The home has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay and the host Sophie is lovely and was so welcoming. A local market within walking distance has anything you will need for your stay. Le design intérieur de cette maison de campagne française au Québec est à la fois magnifique et fonctionnel, située à environ une heure de Montréal dans une communauté agricole tranquille. Si vous voulez vous reposer et vous détendre, c’est parfait, mais toujours à distance de route des attractions de Montréal. La maison dispose de toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un séjour confortable et l’hôte Sophie est adorable et était très accueillante. Un marché local à distance de marche a tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour votre séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cette propriété très recherchée."

"Over all was good but amenities was not perfect, one of the toilets was leaking , water stoped in the house due to a pipe rapture but the owner responded quickly to fix it , totally not his fault , kids enjoyed their time in the pool The room upstairs was very hot , no AC, the AC was only in the living room"
