"Very clean and pleasant but more basic than I expected . Very helpful staff. Excellent location. Breakfast is quite limited and chaotic unless down early at the start, needing to ask for plates, bowls, coffee machine to be refilled etc. ; no one seemed to be overseeing things in this regard but staff were very helpful when asked for things. When we checked in we found they had gratuitously put some balloons and half a bottle of champagne in the room knowing it was my daughters birthday. That was a nice surprise. The deluxe St Germain view room was a little disappointing in that it states you can have double or twin beds. Instead we got a double bed and a chair that opened out to a bed which wasn’t great for me and my adult daughter and made the room feel tiny. It was more appropriate for a young child. The chair bed was a solid mattress base too typical of a put you up bed. The double bed mattress was also solid being a bed that folded into the wall. Neither of these things were specified. I was expecting 2 regular single beds as specified and which was why I booked that particular room for the two of us. Also the photo of that room is a high room with view over st Germain, as in the name. However our room was on the first floor ( no great view) and right by the lift so had that noise too."

"This is our THIRD time staying at Le Lapin Blanc. We absolutely love the cute rooms, comfortable beds, kind staff, location, and little breakfast! They are currently adding more space to their reception area which will make this little boutique hotel even more appealing! Every time we go we feel like family, and they are so accommodating. Tenzin is one of the nicest people and always wants to help. We cannot wait for our next trip to Paris, and we will most definitely book a room at Le Lapin Blanc! Please note that there are steps to get to the property, just like most hotels in Paris!"

2/10 Terrible

"My tiny room was cold and damp with one small window that didn't open. It contained a narrow single bed and some shelves. The window had frosted glass so you couldn't see out. The bathroom was freezing cold and the shower leaked water everywhere. The carpet was torn with visible threads showing. The heater was off and with low spring temperatures in London, the room was freezing. I asked for an extra blanket and was told there were none. The heat finally came on but was on a timer. The next day I complained and asked for another room and was told the manager wasn't in. The next day I complained again and was told there were no rooms available as everything was booked. They finally gave me a new room after 3 nights in the tiny cell like room. (I was booked for 4) It ruined my stay in London and I came down with a bad cold. I was also told I would get a partial refund. No sign of it. An absolutely dreadful experience!"
